Am I the only one that is under the impression that tucked belt loops are not better? Brands tout this as better and stronger, but I am not seeing it. The stress is still all on that one bar tack. Granted, if that tack fails, there is still the tucked part to keep the loop there, but it is all messed up and still requires fixing. Am I missing something? and I just now tried to find the answer on the internet and Reddit already went over this one. According to one comment, it is easier to manufacture with them tucked. Ok, nevermind. Case closed. https://www.reddit.com/r/rawdenim/comments/7jjf9t/how_big_a_deal_are_tucked_belt_loops/

I think it looks cleaner if the belt loops are tucked in the waistband and that you get less loose threads after washing that you'll have to clip. Apart from that no benefits I noticed

For many a year, Lord Gustin had me convinced that it was better.
I just assumed that they were better until I saw my oni denims didn't have them, then I actually looked at the loops and felt so dumb because all the force still goes on one point. Maybe I was the only sucker around here that just assumed it wasn't a gimmick. It isn't bad, but nothing to write home about. "dear mom,
My belt loops are tucked under the waistband. You can rest assured that your son has quality garments.
Your Son, Me
P.S. is grandma still farting?"
At least I get to keep my doctor if I like my doctor and diet dr. pepper tastes like regular dr pepper. No new taxes? Mexico is gonna pay for that wall? Roman is going to sell us jeans at 50% off for life? Right, guys?
