How long do y'all like your shirts? I got a couple of shirts from Proper Cloth at 29.5" and I am debating making them shorter. I am 5'8 with a semi long torso. Inseam is only 29.5 on my pant.
At 29.5 the shirts go down to about the 3/4 or middle part of my butt, and leave a little fly exposed on the front.
So what do y'all like?

As someone who doesn't like tucking, I prefer my shirts between 28.5" to 29.5". I'm 5'11 so that's an acceptable range where it doesn't look like dick curtains. Anything over 30" and it looks silly on me. Shirt lengths have been an issue for me and for this reason I have not tried a lot of other brands outside of 3sixteen, SDA, Filsoon, Edgevale and IH. But i've found that IH typically makes the perfect length on most of their shirts which is why i've gravitated towards them lately.

I like a 31" shirt length, but a 1/2" either way doesn't bother me. 6'2"--34 inseam.

TS fit guide lists the length for a size 40 at 27. That's SHORT.

I'm in the "I'll just roll my sleeves up" camp, but that tobacco color is nice.

Any feedback on that shirt length? I feel like a half inch shorter might be better.

I agree with giving it a wash and hot dry. I had a shirt taken in recently and after a couple washes it's borderline too short. It's funny how 1/2" can make or break how you feel in a shirt. I find myself tugging on the sides to make sure it's not riding up on me when i sit down or stand. If you do decide to get it altered just remember that you can always take more off, but you can't add any back.
