Where would "general denim questions commentary" be located.
For example, I've now received two pairs of black jeans that smell like they spent the weekend at the sulphur hot springs. Is this common, does a simple soak take care of it, etc.
This thread is for a question on a topic not covered elsewhere that a member has and and hopefully a member can answer.

you can cold soak to lessen the extent of the smell but typically you just need to get a few good wears in. wait until you get a jacket that smells like that and it's right up by your nose.  |

Agree, with Ickes and Bugula. The dye is sulpher based...not only does it smell...It also gives your jeans a "shininess" Both will go away with wear and soaks. If your looking for the sick fadez, try to deal with it as long as you can before soaking. If the fadez aren't that important to you, soak away!

Massive debate among metal kids when I was in high school in the '80s. Is it "seltic" and in Boston Celtics or Keltic.
I'm not sure the band even knew the answer because they were too metal to care.
I know, I know, I can google this and get a definitive answer.
