So I have a pair of CF Wabash jeans (Indigo weft and warp). I find them to dark and just dont wear them. No matter how many times I wash them (think I've washed them 20+) they don't lighten up at all. Question is should I bleach them to lighten? If so, will it work? How?

You want to start with an extremely diluted water/bleach soak, and have lots of patience... I would slowly add bleach, a tablespoon at a time.
My experience from dying my IHSH-33 is that indigo puts up a damn good fight against bleach, to the point that I ended up having to soak it in a 50/50 bleach-water mixture to get it to completely turn white.
A weak mixture should get you a slightly faded look, but once you get too strong, you'll start turning gold.
*Maybe Dharma Trading Company has something specifically suited for what you're wanting

What temperature you washing at? Try washing hotter. I'd be cautious of bleaching to lighten them unless you're trying to turn them bone white; you might end up with a weird green/yellow tinge.

Try a dryer cycle while they are dry... The tumble will give way to some fading, also

Putting them in the washer with Hot water and 3+ cups of Bleach, soaking 20 min. Let's see what that'll do. Before pic

I like the contrasted lining! Curious if they'll show a little wear with abuse now?

This denim holds its color tough. The canvas liner gave up the Indigo but not the denim

Not to bring up a verboten subject, but is it possible that they're not indigo dyed?

I'm thinking I'll get a lot more use with them if I make them a pair of shorts.

That jacquard ticking stripe is awesome. Would make a cool Western or work shirt. Not that this helps you now.

Yeah, if bleach isn't working, I think the only option left is abrasion, i.e. once they've air dried, put them in the dryer

I've noticed with quite a few of my pieces (Shirts and pants alike), that washing alone doesn't really fade them so much... It's the dryer cycle that REALLY gets the crocking sped up! Actually, about 2 months ago, I machine washed (At 70C, with full spin cycle) and dried ALL of my Wabash pieces...
You may be asking yourself "Why did he capitalize "ALL" like that?"...
Well, because it was ALOT, lol! 3 shirts, 4 vests and 4 pants. The results were exactly what I wanted though. *Idk when or how I ended up with so much Wabash... Honestly, I hardly wear ANY of the pants, at all... But, I love them!!!!

I remember trying to buy a pair of Wabash pants off you but the deal fell through. I ended up getting a pair of black ih814, which I think worked out for the best. I'm sure you must have the 814. How are they looking? I only ever do a 40c wash and no dryer, and they aren't showing much right now but it's coming. I have a feeling when they do start showing some evo and start draping right they're going to be incredible.

I do have the IH-814-blk, the IHV-02-blk and the IHSH-62-blk (All the same fabric). NONE started showing any signs of fade or wear prior to running them through dryer cycles. Even then, it's still subtle, with an over-all lightening of that deep, dark BLACK, and some dark greys on the friction points.
***Btw, don't know if you know, but IH is releasing a NEW Wabash fabric soon.... 21oz! THAT should have some amazing fade potential!!!!!
