Greetings, brahs. Don't worry, I am not here to talk about how much I still dislike certain jeans manufacturers...this is out of necessity I enter your clean and sterile world. I shan't stay long as to not sully your paradise. To the point, I went to Okayama to ride the skycycle. You might have seen it making the rounds on facebook, it is an elevated pedal powered flat roller coaster. The AirBnB host recommended that I go to Kojima Jeans Street. He said all of the foreigners like that place. I thought, "how does he know that I like Japanese denim? Is it all of us Gaijin?" The skycycle was fun, but the park was expensive and rundown. Kojima Jeans street, it was Saturday and almost everything was closed. Momotaro was closed and that was the only shop I really wanted to see. I have already bought a pair of Oni XX jeans from Himoya in Ueno (which are somewhat awesome, but no jeans should cost over $200...but it had to be done), and I don't need more jeans. Really...but I will probably get a pair of Momos if I can find a straight legged pair that looks Ok. Whatever. The jeans street was actually quite ridiculous. If you want anything and everything made from denim, it is the place to be. Tons of bags and whatnots...everything. It is to the point of being silly. Denim iced creams...man...DENIM ICED CREAMS! What? Furthermore, nobody else I know would care that I went to Kojima Jeans Skreet...so I posted here. oh yeah, they had a silly jeans bus to take you there from the station. What a strange time to be alive.

Mr. Dug, the project takes a break during the summer. Japan is really hot and humid which makes me not want to wear the sportcoat with the mask. But, here is a photo from the Cherry Blossom festival photo set in Kyoto.
