I'm being indecisive at the moment and since I have a ton of jeans to choose from i've limited myself to just a handful to make things easier. In short, my N&F LHT's have been beaten to sh*t but still have a ton of life left in them. I wear those every other weekend. All other days I wear my Leon Denim LD01XX and those are finallly revealing fades after 4+ months of solid wear. I'll continue wearing those until I can decide on what pair to wear next, but with summer coming up this may not make 17oz denim the best choice. But fuggit, I want to try something new and am willing to deal with some discomfort if I can bear it.
What would you guys choose from the shortlist? I almost took the TSG's off just because of the fit, but maybe they'll stretch out some more in the thighs/knees if I give them a chance.

Buy the new 12oz Oni? 14oz OD Iron Hearts? Try the TSG and hope the cotton thread doesn't explode and expose things you don't want seen? Just burn the Gustin Superlights, I can't bring myself to vote for those.
The three 17oz just sound like a good way to make your summer miserable or convert you to a shorts guy.

I want to give the Strike Golds a chance but they're borderline skinny jeans. I've worn them a few times already but when I look at myself in the mirror I keep thinking, "ok, you're a dude in his mid 40's wearing skinny jeans. wtf?"
my other jeans for the most part have a 34" waist, 12-12.5" thigh, 8.5" knee and 7.5-7.75" hem. The Stike Golds, if memory serves me correctly, have a 34" waist. 11.75" thigh, 8-8.25" knee and 8" hem. they're weird proportions to my eye, which is why i'm curious if the thighs and knees would stretch out with more wear. love the slubby fabric though

Sort of the opposite of my Oni 575. Baggy fit, but love the material so just decided to it was time to beat the shit out of them. Made it all winter and they're starting to look good. Try the Strike Golds for a few months, burn them with the Gustins if they don't work out.
