I like the idea. But, I've got 5 pairs of Gustin. All of them in seasonal rotation for work. I've got 6 others (IH, PBJ, ONI, 3sixteen) in personal time rotation. I've got one more IH waiting in the wings, and I'm still planning to nab a pair of Samurai S710XX, before the "Donald" starts taxing foreign goods into oblivion.
I'm not buying anymore jawns !
If I can use my unworn 666sii, or the soon to be purchased Sammies, I'm in.....

So what would a Fade What You Want contest look like? Over at SuFu they have weight divisions. Maybe we should do that since not all denim is created equal and some fade faster than others. I also don't know that i'd fully commit to wearing the same jeans 7 days out of the week since i'm currently rotating between 2 other pairs |

 Gustin Blue 17  Gustin Japan One Seven  3sixteen st-140x i'd also try and give one of my 17oz jeans a go. might be kinda heavy but they've been sitting on ice for awhile. i'm leaning towards the G Japan One Seven or the 3sixteens. |

I actually like mine and wear them a few times a week too. The suckers just won't fade. I have a little wallet fade, and in direct sunlight there's a trivial amount of whiskering, but no knee fade and certainly no honeycomb. |

I'd consider entering my new Tanuki's in the contest. Haven't worn these yet besides a few hours at home. Need to ship them to Railcar for a hem (potential taper). Perhaps I'll do that this weekend.

I'm trying to get these dialed in to my perfect fit. For $325 why should I compromise? And wouldn't a Merman need a bigger opening? |
