If you're in the Twin Cities, its worth checking out this denim shop. They've been carrying Tellason, Left Field, Raliegh for a long time. Just found out they now carry Pure Blue Japan and Studio D'Artisan. My quasi-no spend thing just got harder.

I did call once to see about cost for chainstich hemming and they were fairly high. I quoted the lower price of other places around the US and they didn't seem to care. |

If you buy denim there, the hemming is free. The owner Steve and the manager Ryan are very good guys who give a crap. I don't recall the cost, but you can also try a guy who used to work at Black Blue and now runs his own denim repair/tailoring operation out of his condo in downtown St. Paul. His name is Satchel. Email is scienceandkindness@gmail.com. He's a really nice and interesting guy and responsive to email. He also does denim darning, which is like a miracle for old pairs. Check him out. In the past, I've just emailed him to set up a time, I meet him at his place and he does the repairs/hemming/whatever while I wait. |

I paid $25 to have my Strike Golds chainstitch hemmed and they did a good job. I figured this cost was worth it when you consider ABFits costs $15 + shipping both ways.
I saw they carry SDA but didn't realize they carried PBJ. Not that it matters, I can't seem to find a fit of theirs that works for me
