I got a Pixel recently, and I've always wanted a veg tan leather case for my phone. The don't exist from what I can tell, and most of the leather cases out there are total crap. So, I made one myself. I bought a super-cheap clip on, minimalist case ( link) and covered it with some thin veg tan. I don't have any process pix, but basically I did the following: 1) cut out my leather a bit larger than the case 2) soaked the leather so that it could be molded to the case 3) stretched it over the case, carefully folding it over the edges 4) let it dry completely 5) trimmed it down a bit so there was minimal material left at the edge folds 6) removed it from the case, coated the case and inside of the leather with contact cement 7) CAREFULLY attached leather to the case (you only get one shot) 8) Used exacto to carefully skiv down the edges (you can see the cut marks on the inside of the plastic case) 9) Cut out holes with exacto (didn't have to cut out the holes for the volume or power, because those can be used through the leather) 10) Burnished and coated with neatsfoot oil Although it looks a little rough on the inside, it looks perfect when attached (impossible to take a photo of the phone in the case).

Looks good. How do you like the Pixel? About to make the switch after years of iphones.

Pixel. Love it. I've only used an iPhone for a brief stint (jailbroken first gen on tmobile, back when the iphone was att exclusive), and have been using android since the G1 came out. Signed up with Project Fi, and ditched Verizon. I love it because it's fast as hell, no bloatware at all (it's always driven me crazy that i couldn't uninstall that stupid f*cking NFL Mobile app that opted in to notifications every time it updated), feels good in the hand, not to heavy, not too light, and the camera is amazing. Can't recommend it enough.
