So these guys or this person reached out to me on instagram about a day or 2 ago: instagram.com/fitted.underground I'm actually planing to take up his offer for raw selvedge. This is the email that he sent me: I'm planning to meet with him after the holidays for fitting and discussion on what he has. I would like to put a blog (question and answer) on here. So let me known what questions you have!

So I met with the founder of the company and getting my first pair of "bespoken" raws. I went with the 13/14oz (for got which one) white oak con w/ red selvedge ID. Progress: As you see there's camo in the works. That will be used for the pockets like what Left Field does with the red bandana.

Those are fun.
But you didn't say how they fit?

Those are fun. But you didn't say how they fit? I'm going to try them on when I pick it up sometime next week. I'll keep you posted.

Just wish they used real rivets and not that style.

Just wish they used real rivets and not that style. Oh! Well if that happens. They will fix it free of charge same goes for any blow outs and etc.

What's pictured is a properly fastened rivet. Nothing to repair there. Just a different style than the snap kind they're using. Just two different ways to solve the same problem.

stitching looks good to me, straight and good tension from the pics.

So here are a few fit pics. I find it weird when I walk in the rear end. Feels like there's to much Denim there (if you zoom into the last photo you can see what I mean) It might just be me. Other than that I like how they look and feel.

Other than that I like how they look and feel. In my limited experience, new denim can feel kinda weird at first. Rightly or wrongly, I attribute it to the starch which holds creases somewhat unnaturally against your body. Once the starchiness goes away (either with a soak or with time) the denim will lay against your body a bit more. #trusttheprocess

I might give these a good soak in a week or two.

Are they willing to make pairs without that weird back pocket stitching?

I set up an appointment with them. Certainly interesting, and the price isn't too far above retail, for something handmade with a guaranteed good fit.

I had to bring mine back in since I notice the rear end was a bit to saggy, but that was my mistake when we did the fitting. I totally forgot to check the back.

Did my fitting and wow - not sure I ever want to get jeans from elsewhere again, unless we're talking about a super unique fabric. Fit exactly like I wanted - low front rise with enough back rise that there's no plumbers crack, bit of room but not too much in the top block, tapered gently. That I can nail my exact fit (at a very reasonable price, with the jeans being handmade) is really awesome. If you're anywhere around NYC, highest recommendation for your next pair.

Awesome How does it work. Do they have a walk in to take measurements ?

How does it work. Do they have a walk in to take measurements ? You basically go on the website. Setup an appointment to meet with Eric. You will either meet at his work shop or at his place in Jay St. He will have a few sample pairs (pre-sized). You'll try them one and see which sample you like the most. Come out with them on (inside out) and then he'll ask you questions if you want them more fitted and so on. Then begins to do his magic.
