I just grabbed a Taylor Stitch Yosemite shirt in navy before the BF 20% expired. What has been your experience with these? I want a few chamois shirts as the only ones I have are Carhartt and old. Also, chamois seems to be hard to find.

Also, chamois seems to be hard to find. Got mine off the preorder production run. The chamois fabric is soft to the touch, but it has a fair amount of structure to it. Dense is probably the right word. It won't drape like a really soft flannel. The fit seems like it runs bigger than the TS oxfords that I have. Don't have measurements now, but I can do it when I get home if you want. I wear a 42 in TS, running 5"9' and 193 or so....maybe add a couple to account for thanksgiving. Seems like it will hold up for a long time

northcoast I have the blackwatch yosemite shirt in a 42. I actually been wearing it a lot the past two weeks since its chilly in the bay right now. It is sized smaller compared to my utility shirt but has more stretch I would say. I prolly could have sized up to a 44 to have a slightly looser fit. Overall, I like mine and I got a good deal trading up for it when I was in the store for a return. So no complaints from me.

It's a little different pattern then most Black watch that I've seen.

Thanks guys. Much appreciated. This is basically my trial balloon for these shirts because if they fit I'll def. be buying more.
Blackwatch is fun. I have 2 blackwatch shirts now and have been kicking myself for 2 years for not buying a Golden Bear wool blackwatch Mac from Unionmade.

I just opened mine up and tried it on. Wow. Right out of the box, perfect fit on me and wonderful fabric. Did not realize a solid color shirt could look so good but the tailoring and the fabric set it off.
In some of the product shots I thought the pockets looked a little small but they are spot on.
RE:Portugal
I had a TS Jack shirt in Sand Work Oxford that I hated and sent back immediately. I did not like the fabric but when it sewed up the arms were a bit wide and the fabric was just droopy. For what it's worth the presumably same factory nailed these Yosemites.
Now that I have the blue, and already have 2 different blackwatch's in my closet, the only other Yosemites in production are two more shades of blue. I'd like to see a nice armyish green in this fabric. Maybe the wild lupine, I just cant get into the turquoise.
It's gonna be hard not to reach for this shirt constantly in the winter.

That's odd, I absolutely love my TS Jack in Sand Work Oxford. The only issue i have with it are the cuffs. They button up too tight to allow the sleeve to freely come and go over my watch. But the sleeves are usually rolled after a short while.

But the sleeves are usually rolled after a short while. Same here, got the steel work Oxford and liked the texture of it. Maybe slightly looser than their regular jacks, but I'm ok with that. Liked it so much that I just received the sand color off the last call page and have the steel and khaki on preorder. My office can skew casual at times, so they are in the wheelhouse of what is acceptable dress and what I'm comfortable wearing. The TS work shirts are the ones I have a tough time with...just seems that they sew up smaller than any of the jacks, california and yosemites that I have.

I really like the fit of the mechanics, the yosemite, and jacks. Never had a California. I have had 2 work shirts, an older railroad stripe in denim and a newer cross jaquard utility shirt. Of those two it was the denim one that definitely sewed up small and I had to sell as it came out barely in the range of 46. My utility shirt and my 3 mechanics (of which TS classifys as Utility shirts) have all been fine, but have all been purchased within the last year.

No more blackwatch in case anyone was wondering. Emailed Steven Keyes and he said that they would not be getting any more of this pattern.
I also love blackwatch and chamois, so I was a little disappointed as I was somewhat eager to try out some TS chamois
For anyone looking for another chamois source, you should check out L.L. Bean. They sell them in tall sizes (I get Large Tall) and they're still very good quality (I just bought one in store this weekend)

Ratio and Proper Cloth both have a nearly infinite number of Blackwatch fabrics if you want to go the semi custom route.

I agree with northcoast above, i'd like to see some non-blue versions of the Yosemite.
