yea that thigh measurement on a 35 is tiny, I went to their website to see how they measure and it says they do straight across the crotch seam. only difference on standard is 0.2".

Its super tiny - which I can't wrap my head around. It says "roomy" in the description, and it should be bigger than the standard. I tried the standard and it was snug i the thigh for me, when I went with the waist - sizing up maybe I had a chance. But comparing shockoe/division road, its a 2 inch difference, seems little off.

Yeah. The thigh for a 34 inch waist is 11 according to their sizing tool. That's insane.

I measured both my modern fit and my standard fit Shockoe colabs. Unfortunately both are not the same size so not a direct comparison, but thought it may help out anyway...
Shockoe x DR 'modern fit' size 31--khakis:
Waist: 17.25 FR: 10.25 BR: 15.25 Thigh: 12.75 (1" down) Knee: 8.75 (12" down) Opening: 7.5
Shockoe's 'Standard fit' Size 32--American Trench's corduroy
Waist: 17.5 FR: 10.25 BR: 15 1/8 Thigh: 12.25 Knee: 8.75 Opening: 7.75

Scored a new pair of Shockoe Atelier jeans: Standard cut 15.5oz Collect Mills (medium wash). Loved my first pair of vintage washed Kojimas, and was stoked to find this new to me denim on deep discount. First comparison shot, Kojimas are on the right. Second comp shot Kojimas on left.

I have to say that they do a good job making them look worn. Don't you feel like your cheating just a little bit?

I have to say that they do a good job making them look worn. Don't you feel like your cheating just a little bit? f!@k yes I do! But, it's not like I'm entering them in fade contest (they wouldn't win anyway!) And I try to disclose the fact that they are pre-washed when I post (I have no denim shame, lol) so others aren't mislead. I have some great unwashed denim that will be 100% my evolution (666-21S and 633-18S-od) eventually, which I cherish. Just view the various 'styles' as tools with different roles of service. Some shirts sing with faded jeans, while not working at all with darker denim. These jeans just open up my style to the full cornucopia of options available, while not having to wait for a result that may or may not pan-out. Haha; Defensive poser rant over, lol

The only pair I have currently are MiC but they are comfortable as hell. I do not like the prewashed look applied to canvas though, like TStitch has been doing.

When my girl first saw them she hated them; Proclaiming: "They look like 'affliction' jeans!!!" She's come around a skosh.

Those are just silly. Go wear your cool shit and make your own fades.
Full disclosure. My first pair of selvedge was "worn" and I've created honeycombs in new places that look different than the much straighter, cleaner honeycombs they came with. They also have the chainstitch cut off and sewn back on. Classy.

'Bout time Bentin! Haha Though it slows producing my own sick fades, I like having BOTH options, now. But I get that it's not going to work for everybody--esp on a selvedge forum, ha!

WOw. Nice find. Should probably start a thread about this store. I'd have to buy a slim and a regular pair since no measurements. That slim pair may be a little too slim, I don't like this sort of pant to be tight. Not really into the fabric or the color on that link you posted but this ripstop is a nice color and I love me some ripstop. I'm about at the end of my 10 pairs of slim ripstop JC**W cargos I bought like 5 years ago on super clearance. www.washingtonalley.com/collections/pants/products/taper-fit-4-pocket-fatigue-pants-olive-ripstop

I guess $69 doesn't buy you a fit chart.

I like them but the legs have a weird taper. My size has a 13.5" thigh, 9.5" knee and 7.5" cuff. So basically if you have carrot shaped legs these would work
