My favorite is the chambray lined twill indigo double cloth that lawless sold as chambray. I've got two of them since I bought one from brentcuz back when he existed, but my favorite is the green thread/green snaps. It's a little big to wear as a shirt typically (sized as an over shirt), so the second one I picked up (contrast yellow stitching black snaps) gets a good bit of wear, also. Neither can be replaced as far as I know, I'd have to hope for pbj to run theirs again, and hope I'm small enough to fit into it. Traveling, though, one of those sturdy oxford cloths from gustin or whomever has to be the way to go for a "one shirt". Dresses up or down just by ironing, tucking, or rolling the sleeves. The button-down collar will only turn up noses in certain circles that don't really travel, anyway, but you know if that's the situation you're headed into. I have oxfords from several different companies, but the standard blue G oxford I have is by far my favorite solid oxford shirt to wear. It's hard to sell someone on a piece like that but the fabric feels so much nicer than any other oxford I own. One of these days I'll buy their green offering as well. The hunter is my favorite, it matches with nearly anything like a chameleon. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone track this down, regardless of their preferred supplier.

I also have a Highlands Organic Chambray and like mine a lot. Went with the button down collar personally and makes for a great sporty summer shirt paired with shorts. Doesn't hurt that Ratio shirts are a perfect fit. As far as the "one shirt" I'd have to replace, it'd have to be my Ratio Wine Campus Oxford. I don't dress up much beyond flannels and chambrays, but when I do need to get a little dressier that's typically my go to shirt. Not that it's a "dressy" shirt though, it's so versatile and the color is unique enough to keep it fun and less office uniform. For $100 I'd recommend it to anybody who's never worn a MTO shirt, it's a pretty good value. www.ratioclothing.com/products/wine-campus-oxfordThat's a great color. I think I'm on a buying freeze right now, but that would be the next oxford I buy. Gustin did a similar one, but for about $25 more you can get the Ratio one made to spec. Well worth it in my opinion; I still wear a 10+ year old Ralph Lauren OCBD and the Ratio is beefier fabric and better quality stitching. I'll easily forget the extra cost in 10 years and I expect it'll still be going strong 10 years past that. I really need to get a white one as well one of these days.

Speaking of the TS Mechanics shirt, Anyone else feel it has one to many buttons? Most shirts have 7 the Machanics has 8. It kind of bugs me a bit.

The green 129 is flipping fantastic.

Talking about shirt and fit. Any of you XL-XXL wearing guys a bit tired of having such fitted/high arm holes? From the front they look fine but turned side ways the wider body and skinny fitted arms look off. I wish they would adjust the patterns to be more appropriately sized. I've found my store bought (Gap, Wrangler, Levi's, even TS) have a much better fit.

I've found my store bought (Gap, Wrangler, Levi's, even TS) have a much better fit. I'm a XLT JC**W, XXLT Gustin, 46 Taylor Stitch for reference. Any yes, I am tired of the phenomena. Since it's turned colder I've had days where I went all MiC wearing my JC**W XLT's and man, it's relaxing. I'm wearing a 46 TS Jack shirt that is actually a nice compromise. The G's sometime give me fits and Iv'e found that thicker fabric TS work shirts I can't wear because they are too small with the high armhole. I now wear only A cut tank top undershirts, which is Ok with me because a full tshirt is usually too warm for me. But anyone that migrates to these "high armhole" type shirts and is accustomed to wearing regular tshirts is gonna have a tough time. I even tried to buy some G t's thinking they may match the cut better than other brand of t's but I gave up on that too. I only wear tshirt's seperatly for the most part, not as undershirts unless I'm wearing a larger cut flannel that I'm gonna leave open.
