I've just now realized what I've been Collecting as far as Shirts go. The Classics. Fisher Stripe, Wabash, Buffalo Plaid, Dobby, HBone. are there any that you have taken a shine to or other styles that I should look for?

Chambray A definite must have for any style guy. I'm on the look out for a Glen Plaid and a Black Watch.

I discovered that I can't do Wabash though. It looks cool, I don't hate it, but I just feel a little to train conductor like when I wear it. I just sold my IH Wabash shirt which is a really nice shirt, just doesn't work for me I don't think.

a classic crewneck sweater, black or grey. I actually thought the Gustin ones looked pretty damn good but I swear nobody on this forum has picked one up. I haven't either but I've considered it several times. I picked up the IHTL-1501 in black last year to fill that void in my closet.

You just have to persevere through the costume-y "new phase"... But, I do realize that not everyone wants beat-down, faded, worn-in clothes for their wardrobe.

Hi, nice to meet you! But I do like your pics. Lol, that's my look for the forum, and it's what I look like most days, but I do have some pristine, well fitted, dapper clothing. I've evolved over the past 3 years, from dressy casual, to Gustin, to IH/workwear... I maintain all of those looks in my wardrobe still.

Actually realizing that I did not have the proper clothes for certain situations led me down the clothes madness rabbit hole. Thankfully, I am getting closer to having an array of items but am still fleshing it out. I'm still pretty much between JC**W khakis/button downs/polos/shorts but fall and winter etc. are looking mostly like Gustin Shirts/TStitch shirts/Gustin & Bravestar bottoms. The shoes have blossomed as well, but most of them all have their uses.

OCBD's are pretty classic for shirting. They're a lot more popular on other forums, but I truly believe they're a staple in any closet. Wore one to an upscale restaurant tonight and found myself in a standing room only city bus later in the evening. Never felt over or under dressed in either situation.
