I have a pair of the denim/denim board shorts that I have been wearing on the weekends for a couple months. I have liked them just fine but finally wore them hiking and swimming in and around the Yuba River in Northern Ca. They were completely transformed after just one week of real river action. I wore the shorts everyday and really abused them. I slid down rock waterslides, scooted along cliff edges and scraped along the river bottom in rapids. When I would slide down a rock into the water, there would be an indigo trail on the rock where I slid! The shorts absolutely came alive... They are now soft and a real pleasure to touch and wear. They wore in and faded beautifully. I am really digging them!! modslife what size do you have? I'd like to get a pair of these but I'm on the edge size wise. The biggest they have is a 36". How much did yours shrink? Do you remember if they stretched any ?

two MF arrivals. Midnight Garrison Shirt and olive twill Garrison pants. need to soak the shirt to get some shrink in it as it's more of a shacket now. the pants are absolutely amazing though - if you're looking for some olive denim and don't mind a high rise, this is the way to go. such a flattering fit. The Sinatra heyday styling on their pants is what keeps these out of covet territory on my map, but I'm curious about the rest of it, and what you find most flattering in the fit.

High rise trousers/jeans are perfect for tucking in if you're slim: they're stylish, flatter the figure, are really comfortable to wear and short jackets look great with them. I've pretty much abandoned low-rise jeans, I have one pair of UB-21oz-ers left, and really don't miss them at all.

DigDug The waist stretched quite a bit. They are tagged size 30 and if I remember right they were about 30 in the waist. They definitely were really tight in the waist when I first got them. I put them on my waist stretcher for bit before I wore them. Just measured them now and the waist is 33 inches. I have worn them in the water several times but always wore them until they were dry. Hope this helps!!

the fit's tough on it...i assume the denim will shrink up more than the olive twill. i haven't soaked it yet so at the moment i've no way to understand the sizing. the quality/construction is great though.
wore the pants yesterday...amazing stuff.

I like the way it Shapes up after some wear (at least in the store Pics). Looks like it some really nice fabric. I'm a big fan of Drab Olive and similar colors. I personally don't like the pocket flaps and the collar seems a bit long and scalloped. But it's a good look on some of you guys (most likely would pair well with those new Boots you got coming @untucked)

What's your overall take one it? Get it, it'll look great with all your brown jeans. Unless you sold all of them, in which case it'll look great with other brown jeans.

Epic purchase completed..... More to follow in about a week.
If the fashion gods reside in any single, specific website, it IS Rakuten.

Guys, you should start searching Rakuten for Fall/Winter new releases and re-releases..... They aren't for sale on the Mister Freedom website yet, but some retailers on Rakuten already have them for sale

I've just got a pair of Buzz Rickson USAAF 1942 chinos, which have a properly high rise and they're about the smartest, coolest casual trouser I have. I've got a pair of 30s Brakeman trousers on order from SJC - they use the same denim as Sugar Cane - which will be full-Weimar Berlin fit (12" front rise, 10.5" leg width) which I am really looking forward to getting.
