Didn't see a thread specifically for them, but I just wanted to create one to warn fellow board members.
My girlfriend ordered a messenger bag from them awhile ago as a Christmas gift. The bag took over double the time expected to arrive, and they sent me the wrong size. Communication was lacking and at several points they missed promised delivery dates or estimates.
I opted to keep the bag as it would work for my needs, and I didn't want to hassle with an exchange.
There was a price difference between the sizes , and with that I ordered an accessory for the bag. It has been 24 weeks with zero communication except "we will send an email when we know more".
Incredibly frustrating experience with this company. Nice products, but not worth the hassle.

can't say that i'm surprised because they're a kickstarter company. I don't trust kickstarter brands at all and Kendal and Hyde just further illustrate why companies like this don't know anything about running a business.
anyway, sorry to hear about your problems with these guys. clearly, customer service is at the bottom of their priority list as they should at least be prompt in responding to your emails.

I requested a refund two days ago for my outstanding order, and got it this morning. Glad to be done with this company. I sincerely hope they get it together, but it doesn't look likely. It is too bad because they produce an excellent product.

[Insert random RA/Lawless joke.] Except I don't think they're trying to defraud anyone. They just don't know how to run their business.

Never an attempt to defend LD/RA, but I will say that from seeing the operations firsthand at LD, they opted for defrauding once they realized they didn't know how to run the business.

I wouldn't feel comfortable guessing where their problems stem from, but I think his heart is in the right place. They do seem to run into a lot of supply chain issues, but I know they endeavor to go out of their way to support independent manufacturers.
I have their boots which I documented my thoughts on somewhere in here, and I'm starting into the daunting task of breaking in those sandals from their last campaign. I'd agree that the stuff they produce is great, so it's sad to hear about your story.

I'd also add that they've produced more product and have been around considerably longer than any of the many documented adventures of our friend.
