Any fans here? I Currently own 3 pairs of their regular fit selvedge and love how they fit. They were also only $40 a pair which is probably the cheapest selvedge denim you'll find on the market. They're made in China, don't have a button fly and no leather back patch, but that's fine with me. It'd be nice if they added more colors but beggars can't be choosers as they say

Here in Japan, they are $29.90/pair, and there is deep indigo, traditional blue jeans, black x black, normal black x white, black x grey, dark grey x light grey, and several different pre-fades. I have an older pair of Uniqlo selvedge jeans from 2012 I think. Probably about 14oz in weight. They were my first selvedges....

Uniqlo's selvedge are the perfect fit for me. they may not compare to other premium selvedge brands but for starter selvedge they're great.

Do they have much in way of raw denim though? Selvedge is one thing, but it's the raw denim that's interesting.

Someone somewhere is going to fade the fcuk out of a pair and make it to Fade Friday lol

Are you asking about "raw" (no rinse, wash, etc after dye process) or unsanfordized?

They're both raw but referring more to the former rather than the latter.
Every time I've checked out their selection (I'm a huge fan of their t-shirts and shop there for them regularly), it's all washed stuff.

They definitely do not carry anything unsanfordized. That's rare even for the big wig denim companies to have. I also love their tee's (and ocbd's)

Not referring to unsaforized. Just raw denim.

The are at least 6 different raw options in their new "Pure Blue Japan" line (Not to be confused with PBJ denim... The is no affiliation). They even carry raw, super lightweight button downs.

*bump*
I should've chimed in earlier but the Uniqlos are definitely raw and they bleed. I wear white thermals underneath my jeans during the winter months and they always get a blue tint to them. I even 'stained' my J Crew sherpa lined skiff jacket

I bought a pair of Uniqlo Selvedge last week to make jorts and since I already had a pair I thought I would do pics to compare old versus new. The old one is a Uniqlo MIJ from two years ago. My very first pair of raws. The fit was the regular fit straight but I had them tapered to a 7" leg opening. I gave these an initial soak and two hand washes. Considering my rotation I don't think I've worn these more than six months, probably less actually, maybe four. The new one is made in India but the fabric is 100% cotton, also from Kaihara, and it's the same size in the exact same fit. imgur.com/a/NBHJc

I'd really like to try them. The thing I like about their selvedge is that their fits are pretty consistent. I've been wearing a pair daily pretty consistently since Sept '14. They're getting filthy and could stand to get soaked, but i'm holdin' out and am going to try to beat these into the ground.

Uniqlo have started selling stretch selvedge jeans here in Australia in a variety of colors & washes. I tried the blackxblack & they are good for the money (very little money). The fabric looks similar to these: www.mrporter.com/mens/tom_ford/slim-fit-selvedge-stretch-denim-jeans/590818Yes, that's 667 British Pounds. Or about 950 US Dollars. For stretch jeans. Believe it or not.
