If you can stand back and look at this issue objectively I think you would find some appreciation for why these respected outlets may be a little circumspect when it comes to Lawless Denim Company. While many discount what has been said about LD on Yelp there are some pretty serious charges being levied against Lawless and its employees and owner. In addition, the Better Business Bureau (yes, I took the advice of another poster and looked it up) giving Lawless Denim & Co an "F" rating is a little unsettling.
I do agree that a consistent delivery of products along with good reviews will go a long way to repairing and building Lawless Denim Co's reputation. From my perspective, I am good on jeans, but have some interest in LD shirts, however, I am not willing to risk it at this point. That's fine. However, if one has no experience with a vendor, it would be best to leave commentary on that vendor to those who have experience with them. We've given all the startups some slack for issues - I can't imagine what goes on when doing such a thing, but it's surely not easy and has many hiccups. We won't stop people from posting legitimate posts that give first-hand feedback, but we won't let other's experiences drag on in threads when they are third-party, and at best, hearsay. The internet is a fun but questionable place to get solid information, so we would like for the commentary here to be based on what members have experienced, not what someone read somewhere else, if possible. All it takes is one pissed off client or a competitor to sour a forum with stories about bad service/product. Hope that's clear and I hope people can appreciate what we're trying to do here... Old26 and othe mods, what is the forum policy on troll?

Trolls will go. There are warnings in place, and next steps are removal and banning and blocking of IP addresses. We all may post once in a while something that we regret, but we are keeping track of offenders that can't get it together.

BBB is a joke. I could go on for a while about them but I won't. Complete joke. Still waiting on my first LD order. Should be fun! Agreed on the BBB. I saw an interesting consumer report on how businesses can buy their good ratings through the BBB. That's right, buy. BBB ratings are worthless IMO

But certainly LD - like Gustin and others have hiccups and issues. I give these startups some slack - it's not a 100Mil company with hella resources and people. I am will to take some risk in buying gear from said places to support local/US made gear. Others are not. but hell, if you charge $400-$500 for jeans, and $300-$400 for shirts, your shit better be good. Always.

You get on rawr by paying. Nothing is for free. Yelp is the same. We have numerous great reviews on there but they want us to pay to get the full positive benefit. As for Rawr everything on there cost money. So if you see alot of one brand in a rawr or other places its because that brand used it as a marketing tool. It can do good or bad eitherway. With that said we are working on it. With anything you have to take your time with brand placement. If rock & roll was pushed years to early it would have flopped so we decided we would like for a certain amount of orders to have been received before anything like that is done. Imagine if we got a review but there was no customers there to add any constructive comments, it would be just a review of one guy from a denim site Let me clarify something. I strongly believe these sites should be charging for these things because thats how the generate revenue. They also deserve to charge it because there is potential for a brand to benefit. On the other side YELP is by far the biggest scammers on the planet. Many of our positive reviews do not get posted and we know this because good customers tell us they posted something but it didnt get approved. Our rating stays at 3.5 regardless and I know they like it that way so we would want to invest in their site

It's just another thing that doesn't make any sense.
