Remember, I'm in cold as fcuk Korea right now. I bought the Mackinaw Cruiser for this specific reason. I didn't search it out, but in a place that doesn't get cold (Okinawa), jacket/coat options are limited. The fact that it was cheaper than ordering one from the U.S. put me over the edge

Jacket looks great either way, hope it keeps you warm while you're lumberjacking South Korea. Superbly warm! For sure. Filson got its start by supplying the prospectors heading up to the Klondike during the 1896 Gold Rush. The Mackinaw jackets are just as relevant today.

Following @untucked lead with the layers 141 under the 76. I like the style and will keep experimenting with combos.

That's 28oz of denim on your torso, lol! Now you're tempting me to go 34oz, with the combo: 100 under the 76 But seriously, any dark button up would kill underneath the 76. It really opens up alot of options. This is why this place is so cool...learning new shyt

Enjoy the collection! I'm slowing down here, lately. Looks like I *might* be moving to England, so I'm saving a few extra pennies in case my company doesn't pay to relocate me..... But, then I'll be right back on it. Moving to the dreary climate of England is the perfect reason to do more shopping!

Thanks DigDugAlso the copper buttons on the inside shirt are stretching it I do agree that I button my shirts one button higher when I layer with a hoodie for example; but I have never rocked the neck button without a tie. Might have to live on the wild side one of these days

Might have to live on the wild side one of these days I do it all the time. It's a look that not many rock. Not sure if I'd do it on a single Denim shirt. But Twills, Chambrays, Flannels or layers I feel odd not buttoning up all the way now.

Most shirts I own I can't even button up the top. Wouldn't button up the top if I could either, unless it's a dress shirt, and even with that I wouldn't button to the top without a tie. Wore my Mechanic shirt again. This shirt in Indigo is an awesome shirt. Don't know how some of you guys slept on it.

Clearly all the work shirts are not made to be worn with a tie makeing the top button odd/useless/unnecessary. And what of the shirts with throat latches? What is the purpose of those?

Remember, I spend much of my time outside for work, in New England. I can't always wear a scarf because of the equipment I'm useing. Buttoning the top is a simple way of keeping the chill from blowing down my neck. So though I do like the look for me it's also function.
