wool herringbone sportcoat I got from Goodwill for $6 with a "Yanbaru Funbaru" button. (yanbaru kuina being a cute little flightless bird native to Okinawa. Discovered in 1981! yeah, "discovered" by who? Or is it "whom?"...whatever.)
"ugly shirt" brand shirt I got in 2005 on sale at hot topic. I was heavier then and it literally did not fit me until 2011. It just sat in my closet for 6 years (not counting moves). It has little skulls on it.

Lawless Japan 13oz crosshatch slub (kickstarter mystery denim that makes me realize that I love crosshatch) straight fit. THere is a lot more stacking in the jeans than I realized. Whatever. I like the length because they don't rise up too much when I sit. I hate it when I see dudes sit down and their goddamn pantlegs are halway up their shins. I hate it when it happens to me, too. I feel really awkward when they come up much past the top of my shoes. Wait...I just always feel awkward...all the time.
Old Gringo Villa boots. They are soft and light and feel awesome from day one, but they cracked very fast the first winter. Granted, I wore them through snow/salt/ice/whatever for a while. Got them in 2010, still kicking strong even with the funky cracks and peeled back thin bonded finishes. I think they look good, but not worth the pricetag.
Other products to plug
Honest Amish Beard Balm. It is my go-to beard product. Amish know beards probably better than Japan knows denim.

I picked up sportcoat fridays at a different office. The guys in the construction office here don't get it and probably just think I am a fancy lad. Red shoes and my propensity for baking cookies for the entire office doesn't help either.

Is that a Karas Customs Retrakt in the pen pocket? I backed and received the copper one. The Cone 101 looks nice but the buttons are absolutely tiny compared to the AE flannel.
