When I met my wife I had tan skin & muscles & now i'm geeking out about denim & how many washes someone has. |

DD - that's hilarious. I would take my wife. Waiting for my lawless orders and then I'm going to get her a pair so she'll understand...maybe. I have 3 young daughters so hopefully one day they'll say "my dad wears the coolest jeans"
I'd also rather take her to NYC - we love it there

I bought my wife a pair of RRL raw selvedge jeans & she thinks its damn near retarded because of how stiff & unforgiving they are. She has put maybe 8-10 days in them in over a year but wont commit like us. The crazy thing is she has some fading going on the back of the knees & whiskers.   |

I will invest in some of the stretchier denim for my gf - it's probably the easiest compromise - she can enjoy denim that fits the way she likes and I can enjoy the fact that they are raw and locally made.
JRay - I'm starting my daughter early - Roman is hooking me up with a chambray onesie for my baby girl.

Related - for anyone opting to travel in to Phoenix for the Lawless event (it could happen), check out the app Hotel Tonight (app only, no real website) - last minute hotel deals can be booked from 12 PM the day of booking. All major cities, namely Phoenix/Scottsdale (note: Scottsdale is east of the shop - but there is a lot of cool/hip hotels there - Old Town Scottsdale area especially).

Believe it or not, it's actually in a convenient location too cause it's just north of the Cardinals stadium, Coyotes arena, and the Westgate area (shopping, bars, restaurants) and right off the 101 freeway. |
