A lot of you guys seem to have a decent amount of vests in your wardrobe so I thought it would make sense to start a thread dedicated purely to this item of clothing. At some point i'd like to add some vests to my rotation, but this would be in the future as i'm currently in middle of my 90 day no spend freeze. So which brands do you guys like or have in your collections? So far i've seen IH and i'm aware of Circle A Brand, Rising Sun Mfg, RRL, etc. I'd like to know if there are other brands out there not being represented that I should know about. I like the Circle A Brand vest below, but also some of the IH stuff as well. I like work style vests....not trucker style vests. Circle A Brand Italian Herringbone Vest

Circle A Brand Italian Herringbone Vest Ciano makes vests if you don't mind waiting a few months. Lots of fabrics to choose from and under 100 bones.

If you're looking for rtw don't even bother searching on circle a brand. He makes great stuff but he's not exactly mass-producing, and as far as I know it's all custom unless you jump in on a Kickstarter offering, which means more waiting.

Doesn't he offer rtw on his site? It looks like he's got some stuff on the site in low volumes, last I looked I couldn't find anything. Most of it seems to be sold out, and I know he's still wrapping up production on his last Kickstarter. I'll be keeping an eye on it now, though, as it looks like you might be right.

Buzz Rickson's always very high quality. Can't go wrong with any of their items. I like that this vest has a zipper in addition to the hooks because it takes forever to close those hooks. I'd try to get some measurements because BR cuts tend to be very boxy (as with my deck jacket) and you might be able to size down if you prefer a snug fit.

Yep, waiting on measurements as I type this. Not sure i'll actually pull the trigger but my interest is piqued
