Any thought of doing replacement patches for jeans? While I like the design of the patch I got on my Lawless jeans, the second it smelled water it vanished like a fart in the wind. Same on the Flint and Tinder pair. I imagine some folks would like a veg tanned patch on their G-unit jeans too.
It also just occurred to me that this is 1112 pages in, and I might be repeating a discussion already done. Oops.

I want to start a petition for Gustin to only use the veg-tan patches, but I'm not going to.

@stevekas, you have outdone yourself. Just got my belt and it is absolutely amazing. Easily the best belt I've ever owned and will last me forever I'm sure. The packaging was also amazing. Thanks so much again!!

whiskeyriver, I'm glad you like the belt! Enjoy the break in process and give it a little time as that leather is no joke. I've been wearing the first belt from that run of leather for about 8 months or so and it really started to settle in after a few months of wear and it's now the most comfortable belt I own as well. I haven't done any additional conditioning on it (except the very light condition as the time i made it) and it and it's taking on a really nice color and the grain/scars in the hide are coming out as well. Thanks again and I hope it evolves into a killer piece of lifetime gear for you. variable and others asking about veg tan patches, I had actually thought about doing that to my LD 18.5 oz jeans before I ended up selling them unworn. Are you guys looking for a simple "send me a patch in the mail" or a service along the lines of sending your jeans in for a new patch and getting them back retrofitted? Interesting to consider either way...

Let me see what I have around here and I'll compare it to the G heavy veg patch.
I think the G patch was around 6-7 oz leather but I'll have to measure. I could do a run of blank patches, grooved and pre punched for stitching.

OK guys, here is the first run of colored belts, all cut from 11oz veg tan....sorry for the delay. Busy at casa stevekas lately. So, briefly: 3 colors, 1. RedBrown 2. Navy 3. Olive. NOTE - The belts in the pictures have the back (flesh) side dyed the belt color. I'm doing all the belts with either natural or black backs for this run. I don't like the way the colored belts look on the flesh side, the porous/hairy side of the leather takes the dye in odd shades. The edges will match the front color of the belt and will be beveled/burnished as usual. 3 Buckles - All available in nickle or brass 1. 1.5" Double tongue roller with a knurled roller (the roller is machined and seamless, not the standard rolled plate metal) 2. 1.5" "RCA" buckle (no keeper style) 3. The 1.75" for you guys looking for a wider belt (shown on the olive belt in the pics). Mix and match buckle styles and colors at will. I can add stitching to the belt of you want for an additional 15 dollars (black or white stitch) 60 dollars shipped for any 1.5" belt (75 with stitching) 65 dollars shipped for any 1.75" belt (80 with stitching) PM for paypal or if you have any questions. Pics below.

Also, orange is not out of the question. Do you mean a bright orange or more of a burnt orange?

Also, I haven't forgotten about the replacement patches. Posting soon.

OK guys, here are the cardholders (simple wallets). We've got two styles, horizontal and vertical. Both are three pocket designs. The horizontal version is slightly more "roomy" meaning there is more space between the edges of a typical credit card and the stitched seams. The vertical model is a bit tighter. Both will stretch and accommodate two cards per slot over time however, they are by designed slightly tight at first for those who want to carry a single card per slot or a few folded bills of your currency of choice. They're like your jeans, they'll mold to whatever you stick in them but they're substantial and will love a week or so of "break in". Edges are beveled, burnished with beeswax and will take on a nice shiny edge after a few months of living in your pocket. I think you'll find these to be a nice, robust simple wallet. Browse the pics and you'l find an example of each color/thread combo. Leather colors are Olive, Brown, Blue and Orange. I can also make you a plain, veg tan version if you prefer. If the orange sells well, all credit to @david for asking. Thread colors are black or white. 28 dollars shipped - PM me and specify leather color, thread color and style (vertical or horizontal). Also, since a few have asked, I have replacement heavy veg tan jean patches, 10 dollars shipped, pre grooved and punched. Just sew them in by hand. They're 11 oz and the same height/width as the G patch. Check the last pic.

Looks great. The orange and blue horizontal cardholders are calling my name. Love the veg tan patch too.

Thanks devastitis, the orange is fun, thinking I might make myself an orange belt because, well, everyone needs to have an orange belt. I think the patches are a niche market within a niche market lol...we'll see if anyone is interested enough to buy one and perform a patchectomy. Or is it a patchplant?

@stevekas So I'm thinking I'd like a Horween Natural CXL belt to go with the Horween Natural CXL Alden Indy's I just got. Is that a possibility or do you stick just to the veg tanned?

Short answer yes to CXL and thank you for asking! Long answer, let me get a quote, get some ordered and I can give you an idea on cost. I'm branching out into other leathers as well as stitched belts with skin/hide inside linings.

Are you thinking something like what others do with the CXL on the outer face and something less stretchy on the inner face with the two stitched together?
