My pops wants one cause he saw his buddy who was wearing one. He said he wore them in the 60s but not sure where I can find a USA made one to get him. Any suggestions?

Here's a highly exposed picture of my newsboy from Circle A Brands, made of the famous "wabi-sabi" herringbone fabric. A flatcap is going to be lower profile, and typically attached or snapped to the bill, making a cleaner profile.

I kind of like this one. Keep in mind that, at least with Goorin, they have several ranges that are made in several different places. Most of the more spendy flatcaps are coming out of the UK.

Also, what comes back in a search for a longshoreman hat is like this, which is almost like a flatcap with a newsboy bill.
