YOU NEED TO PICK NOW. trust me, it will get worst than better..... My wife made me trade my beloved mint condition NSX for a SUV, so we could have space for the baby stroller.... I have been battling her to get my 2 doors sport car since... for 13 years!!!

I have been battling her to get my 2 doors sport car since... for 13 years!!! While i know minivans are so efficient and made to lug around kids, I told her we are getting an SUV or sports wagon. I always had two cars in the past until recently, weekend car and commuter car. Lots of my buddies are giving up their NSX as well. Just not much of them around anymore in clean condition. I told her I will make a tactical kydex baby carrier but I know once you have your first kid everything changes lol. That's why I bought a lot of my goodies in the last 3 years so I can prepare for the worst

Man I am happy I don't have kids. Everyone tells me they're worth it. But my sell-by date for kids has come and gone.

Man I am happy I don't have kids. of course, when I was younger the thought of having children never crossed my mind. But now that I have a toddler I can't imagine living a barren existence with no one to share it with. Besides, my boy will get to inherit my stuff when I kick the bucket. Never say never

So technically I started my no spending on March 1st and with all my ticket sales/tax return this month so far..my fund is looking wonderful My Bday is in 2.5 weeks but I preordered all my gifts last year (watch + truman boots) so I think I can make it to June or even longer. I saw new clothes I wanted but thought I have a lot and could just enjoy my stuff, so temptation gone.

No game for me. I will be spending the most money in my life during the next 90 days..... paying for that damn house that my wife wants. Just don't ask me how much I am paying for the stove.... or the dish washer.... or even the stupid microwave.....the list goes on and on.
That's go the funds of my next 10 fun projects for the next zillion years.

Dish Washer so if she cooks you can throw it in and say you washed the dishes after eating. Microwave for when your alone in case you can't cook or she won't cook for you Spun everything into positive for you. No spending anyways since I'm doing a refi on the house and anything crazy would throw off the current rates I am going to get. Cut 10 years of the payment and reduced monthly a good amount is well worth it for me and my pops.

The wife cannot cook, but she does wash dishes. I always use the same three buttons (1, 2 and start), so this fancy microwave does me no good.
I just locked the rate yesterday, and it is pretty good. 30 fixed with 3.25 and cover all closing cost. Btw, many of the loan officers are not trustworthy. I listen to them with a grain of salt.

MiddleAge what loan company did you go with to lock in that 30yr rate? My 20 year was 3.5 and I shopped around as much as possible.

One good thing about our kids finally leaving home was that we noticed we then had cash to spare each month. That took 22 years for each, though

I am done spending until Iron Heart drops the Grey Herringbone at least. I've just spent $1750 on boots the last week, and a bunch on TS shirts and chinos.
