Welcome to the 2016 version of the no spending fun. I am already on a spending freeze, moving, sold my house and just too much going on to buy clothing. Plus I need all the cash I can when I move out of this rental into my next house.
March 15- June 15 2016 everyone is invited to join. Should be a decent time to hold off buying stuff since winter is ending (a mild one at that for me) and it's before weather gets smoking hot.

i'm in. however, i'm only putting a freeze on purchases for myself. my son's 3rd B-day is coming up so I gotta bring the goods in a couple of weeks. gonna keep it low key though and not go all out. he's already got way too much stuff as it is

"Engagement rings starting at $1,999" I'm going with a non-diamond stone. From a made in the USA brand, handcrafted (probably by Gustin figure they will get into jewelry) butter smooth white gold. Mined, cut as polished in the USA by a top tier gemstone company (we won't name). At a radical value. If anyone hasn't watched the Cracked channel on YouTube check out the jeweler and wedding video. |

Lol i was serious Brent, a 90 day no spend for me is big cause last month alone i spent 900 on just shoes :/ Clothing was around 500. So in one month I could have added an extra 1400 to my engagement ring fund. I just need like 8k more to afford a decent one.

No one cares about flawless. I poled some females, get what I did there, and it's all about size.
Half of them can't tell clarity and color unless they are really yellow and set in platinum or white gold or there is a large carbon inclusion. Go big.
A large 3carat that is less than perfect with color and clarity will make up for it with size.

After much deliberation, I'm in. I literally have everything I need.
Edit: After I typed that, my brain told me: "nuh uh, you need a 3 season charcoal, navy, light grey, and light brown suit. Color #8 shoes. Well fitting spring/summer chinos, and summerweight denim." I guess I have ten days to sort that out.
