Can anyone recommend a good Japanese proxy service that is cost effective? I need to buy some shoes from Amazon Japan and there are so many services out there.

As it's Amazon, can't you just get them sent direct to you in the US? I've used Amazon US, France and Germany to send direct to me in the UK. You might need to translate stuff, though.

Damn. I signed up on the SF promo which was only 300 yen. I could've had $1.80 more! Anyway--I've been pleased with Zenmarket so far. I have a package on the way from Japan that I hope will be here early next week. They only took one day to order the product, and had it shipped out within 24 hours of it entering their warehouse.
Total cost for me the proxy was 3100 yen including shipping and fee. Not bad at all.

It's opposite for me, I like the length of Large but it's a bit boxy at the waist. Perhaps medium would have been better. |

benjaminpersitz marauder how was your Zenmarket experience? How much did it end up costing all in all to ship something? I've only used Celga so far, and it costed like $50+ and took almost 3 weeks for the entire process.

They shipped 2 days after receiving the package (took 2-3 days from Amazon) and I had it a few days later. Shipping was 2800 yen for EMS. Was in good shape and as ordered. The shoe itself was super narrow for a 3e, but that has nothing to do with the proxy. |

Shipping was similar to Rodeo bros 2800-3200 yen but I ended up paying almost the same amount as Japanese tax and they charge 4% as payPal fees that you pay instead of the merchant. So it ends up costing a bit more but it's still cheaper than buying from IH UK |
