Totally agree on the short sleeves. The only problem is that all my IH shirts are too narrow in the sleeves to roll up properly. I tend to just shove them up. Not as bad as Taylor Stitch, but IH's narrow sleeves do present me with issues too. I don't shove em up, but I do roll them not as high as typical--some, like the 100, I only flip the cuff once, while the UHFs get two rolls, and some like the 33 get the gun show with 3 rolls! I used to halfheartedly roll them up, now I meticulously fold and roll evenly and even try to match the patterns up--its easier than it sounds--in case I run into my bearded doppelganger bentin I shaved, it's hot down here. And I'm even getting a hair cut today. 716's look nice, if something caused me to venture into IH, those are likely it, especially if they do a few more colors.

*My gf just told me "Hell no" for the short sleeves, and I agree..... Decided rolled long sleeves look better than the short sleeves. They don't look "bad", but it looks adolescent somehow. Idk... I was so excited for these, and now I'm less than thrilled Because school kid uniform.

The 716's cut is great and the fabric is light enough to not overheat in. With the herringbone fabric these would be made better, but would then look less casual and be more expensive. Good luck with your job interview err or court-date jk

At lest these don't have name tags etc. I'm good on SS bd shirts no temptation for me. Do find it interesting that these would be considered immature looking but t-shirts aren't. I think the idea is internet fashion funk. Especially concerning workwear. Unless your work is white collar, where rolled cuffs symbolize "I work at a desk but I just got off work". If it gets into the 80s or above I'm wearing short sleeves, unless I'll be in the sun for awhile (I need the protection) or I'm wearing a suit.

Idk, and I don't want to speculate. I did also notice that IHUK dropped the IHSH-146 today, and no sight to be seen on Rebirt and Craft These?

If it gets into the 80s or above I'm wearing short sleeves, unless I'll be in the sun for awhile (I need the protection) or I'm wearing a suit. Alot of my clothes styling is due to classic military wear, and the fact that I served in the Army for 6 years. Rain, sleet, hail or snow.... -20° to 120°, you're wearing a long sleeve "blouse" (What most people think is the shirt/jacket) with a t-shirt underneath. Old school Army, you could roll your sleeves when it's hot outside (I think all other branches still do this). Nowadays, maybe if you're lucky, you can doff your blouses while doing particularly strenuous work outdoors in the heat. I think after 6 years of those stringent rules for the clothes that I had to wear at least 5 days a week, it's all kind stuck with me. **Military also "blouses" their pants (Trousers) up at the top of their boots. Hence, my weird infatuation for how I wear my pants (At least my more loosely cut pants), lol. Obviously military boots are laced and not floppy. On really hot days you can unblouse your boots and let your pants down like normal humans. That leaves you with long ass pants draped over your boots... Hence, why I don't hem my pants... I like the "too long" look, to an extent.

Its a great shirt and for RB's price, it just makes sense. But if I could only keep one, the 716 (pants in the same material) or the 142, it'd have to be the pants, those are game changers for me and trousers

Yeah, the 716 are real chinos. Like today, I'm wearing my blue IHSH-13 with them, and I actually felt like I should tuck in my shirt. They're "that kind of pants", lol

They seem to be the same cut as the IH-711. I've been eyeing the dark khaki..... I can't find them on Rakuten, and just can't bring myself to spring $275, from IHUK.

I believe they're IHUK exclusive I believe you're right. I may have to look elsewhere. I don't know I'd ever pop more than I did for the 716, for chinos.

$275 for a pair of chinos is just bonkers. Most of us are just wearing them as an alternative to denim, and there's so many good options out there.

I hear great things about the Railcar flight chinos (i think that's what they're called) I'll take a look. I never gave Railcar a thought. They became somewhat of an afterthought, since I'm on denim overload. Left Field has been on my radar. But, they've got nothing in my size, in beige or khaki, atm.

I've got 2 pair (IH-716, G Japan Acorn). I only need beige/khaki, and I'll be set. Indigo, black, and olive, I've got covered in denim. I would like a more workman/military type khaki, though. I may just wait for a restock of the 707, from RB.

The 707s look nice, but I'm more of a slim chino wearer, so the 816s and 707s aren't for me.

The Railcars are really good, sort of a modified five pocket style. The RgT Officer Trousers are also worth a look and frequently on sale somewhere.
