Not made in the USA, but it's tough to beat Vans for less than $50. Picked up a closeout pair recently from 6pm for $30. I'll follow this thread though to see what other options folks come up with.

The Hill Side makes some almost acceptable looking ones. I prefer flip flops to not quite shoes. Or Chucks if you can spare the six seconds to lace them.

Take a suede brush to them if you don't mind losing the patina. I do the opposite, I Obenauf mine, so they're slick as Prudhoe Bay, but they have a great patina and I'm just careful when I walk.

Yeah I might just live with it. The patina is pretty sweet. Unfortunately, the patina is under my feet so I don't get to show it off. What sandals do you have? |

Just some Amazoned Rainbows. I like the double soles since they'll last a full year, I tend to plow through thin soles flip flops in a few months.
