Davelewis, I'm working on it. I don't know if you guys know is but we had to retool to handle the heavy denims. The standard commercial sewing machines can't handle the heavy denims. Yeah, GUSTIN broke two machines on the 26oz...

I hear you on that. Thats why you don't see a lot of really heavy stuff being produced, and only by a couple of players. Glad to see that you are joing the frill.

True, I am being a total pest. I am really sorry guys. I didn't mean to be and didn't realize it. In my mind I thought I was being helpful by letting him know. But thanks for pointing out that I was being a pest. Enjoy the rest of the weekend brahs!

Let's give the poor guy a break on emails. Spoken like a true IT guy. I had the same reaction. When this happens at our office, I know people are trying to be helpful when they keep telling me something is down, and I always think "no shit, I know I'm not getting any emails, so if I'm not neither are you . . . "

Getting back on the Lawless offering topic, one area that's been going under the radar is all of Roman's leather goods (bags, belts, etc.) and the unique creations like this Cone denim backpack. I think there's endless potential if we've got some good ideas and the demand is there. No doubt Lawless could do some creative stuff, as they keep displaying on their FB page.

Very true Vitelli....and their doggie denim?!!...lol...that was cool. But yeah a whole other area we haven't even touched on is the fact that Roman is making Womens products. Jeans, jackets, etc....that's an opportunity to get some females on this board and expand the demographic and also to get a female perspective on what looks good on the fellas and vice versa.

Cool man.
Roman I just want to say that it's very cool that you are frequenting our forum and that you are such a hands on business owner who seems to really care and be in tune with what your customers want and need. Your willingness to ask for their (our) opinions, wants, and needs is a very refreshing attitude coming from a business owner/operator and it is extremely appreciated. I think I speak for all of us when I say this. Keep doing what you're doing.

Well written Ickesy, both points - on Roman's involvement and to diversify the perspectives here in the forum. We are a niche group, but if we're going to help the success of one (or many) selvedge businesses, the transparency of those involved and the opinions of the females wearing the denim is essential.

ickes and Matt, Thank you for allowing me be a part of this forum. I have enjoyed every minute of it. it's great information and I really enjoy speaking with those who have there fingers on the pulse of what's hot and what others want. We are in constant development of new products and it one of the things I enjoy the most. I have over 50 sewing machines so I'm always looking for ways to keep them all sewing. Thank you all for creating this great platform for us to communicate freely.

Hi Roman--can you comment on the pair of khaki canvas 5 pocket pants in this ebay listing? I gotta tell you, if i were to design my own pair of non-denim pants, they would likely have turned out exactly like this. I love the sage green stitching and the red tacks/fly detail. Event the blue stitching inside the fly is cool. Beautiful work. I was gutted to find out that the actual waist on this pair is 37". I've considered buying them an hot soaking the crap out of them to see if the waist would come in a couple inches. www.ebay.com/itm/Lawless-Denim-Custom-Built-Japanese-Canvas-Khaki-Pants-/321532073823

The stitching looks white to me - but +++1000 if it's in fact a sage green color!
