I had an epiphany today as i stared down the placket of my twill flannel shirt, frustrated that the placket on it runs off to the left side of my body slightly, and then i realized that it's not just the placket, the entire shirt is bottom twists to my left slightly toward the bottom.
Which led to my epiphany: twill shirts suffer from the same twisting effect that jeans do.
I have a few other shirts with the twist, and they are all twill fabric of one iteration or another.

All from the same brand?

No, but it's all big box brand stuff. J.Crew, BR, and Gap. I took a quick look again last night, and all of the twills I own have a little bit of twist. None of my other shirts with "square" woven fabric has this. It makes sense to me that this would happen, as the torso of a shirt is just a larger pant leg . . . Not a huge deal, just an observation.

If this is after wear, washing and drying it could be due to multiple factors. Shrinkage and stretching depending on where you put pressure on the fabric etc.

I'm wearing another one today. Note that this isn't the result of crappy matching like plagues G shirts--this is just the way twill drapes given the diagonal weaving.

It is the nature of twill like stinky said. Twill will twist.
