OK, so I have a Nudie jean jacket that I love the cut and fit of, and I love the material because of how crispy it is and it will get great fades and evolution, but I hate the thread used and I like the idea of an over dyed type III trucker. Below is the link to the jacket that I have. I can't stand the stitching on the back. I know I could use a stitch ripper, but I have this indigo dye VAT sittin here lookin at me and I am considering over dying it. What do you all think? Yes or nay? global.rakuten.com/en/store/outletusa/item/40161-5003/?s-id=borderless_recommend_item_en

I also don't think the Thread will take the Dye.

Is it cool there? Burn it to keep warm.

Yeah, that's some seriously bad stitching on the back. Even if the thread would take the dye (which it won't), that stitching needs to go.

Yeah, you all are probably right about the cotton poly. Bought it off ebay a couple years back (unworn, unused, only $50), but the front was only pictured. Stitch ripper it is. Still considering an overdye.

There's always the navy Sharpie. Or portage a muddy kayak for a few days.
