I'm actually going to do a jacket with the 23 oz denim. He asked me to wait a couple weeks before he dives in to it Eventually i will get a pair. I have lots of life in my 16ers and Hemps, and I have barley worn my 16 oz black x coal |

I too am tempted but backed off with the shitty Canadian exchange rate(almost 1.4!) might pick up another pair of E5 locally

I was tempted but with indigo 23oz CF coming tomorrow, 21 oz gustin and 23 oz lawless coming in sometime in the next 10 years, I think my heavy denim is covered. Still thinking about another shirt but not a denim shirt wearer.

Received my "custom" candiani chambray shirt today. I know I ripped it off IH but couldn't find my size on rakuten and indigogene(grad student budget) < IHUK(grad student budget). Plus i would have had too many western shirts. Nonetheless superb quality and communication. I requested to have one less total button, top button to be sewn and not snap, and gussets/chainstitch runoff. Manny will do anything for you in his capabilities. Don't be afraid to ask. Will give it a warm soak tomorrow to shrink and report back with some measurements and better pics. Overall I am extremely happy with the shirt   Also I picked up a pair of 18.5 oz straight leg for my dad. I can't comment on the fit as I am bigger than him and they are too small. Construction shows no flaws |

A little which way to go on Type II. I have an indigo Cone Mills type III so I could go with a black denim.
OR I could go with indigo and get it lined so I have two different functionalities. But it doesn't get too cold here in San Diego.
OR just have two raw indigo jackets.

I just got a type II in the Kaihara and I can't tell you how much I like it. It really could not be better in any way.
Great construction and the communication was also top notch the whole way. I have been wanting a type II for over a year now and to be able to get on, to my specs. in a month was the real icing on the cake, and that includes the back and forth communication. There is a photo of it on their Facebook page.
I will be coming back for more.

That is indeed the coat and it is a great one! I posted the review as soon as I got it and then left town, just getting back in. Sorry I didn't have time to mess with photos but happy they were posted here.
The jacket is exactly as I ordered it and it was done quickly. They were great to deal with and very accommodating every step of the way.
I will be getting more from them and my long wait for a type II is over.

I went ahead and ordered the Candiani BlackxBlack sawtooth just so in wouldn't have a denim tuxedo. I do see a Type II in my future though

Ordered my sawtooth last week and Manny sent me production pics today and estimated it'll ship tomorrow. Amazing! Eventually he's going to be too popular to get this kind of service. I see a Type II in my future but I've been buying up guitar gear too.
