I was talking to indigogene on FB a couple of weeks ago and mentioned that I was sad that I would never get my Oregon shirt from Lawless. He told me that he knew how to make it and it would take about 2 weeks. Well from the day I ordered until they day I got it took 10 days. His size chart for slim shirts: I am 5'10, 200 lbs. 36" waist, 41" chest, 16" neck. I went for the XL. The shirt measures exactly as the chart states and I think the fit is great. I'm really happy with the shirt. The fabric is Kiahara 13.5 oz deep indigo. I'm wearing Gustin Beasts in the pictures. The pics were taken about 5 minutes after I took it out of the box. I think I'm going to give it a hot soak. I really like the selvedge details. The pocket lining is a very nice touch that we didn't even discuss. I wasn't expecting it. I know we had a lot of communication through facebook, but i want to say thank you again for your support.

Looking Great indigogene what are you charging for shirts like univibe88 ? And would you be able to get some of the Black Watch Pendleton Wool ? The shirt we made for univibe88 is the Arizona style. The only option i will give is if you want one flap or both on the pockets and the price is $160.

honestly , I can make whatever you'd like, if you like that shirt, I can find the fabric and order it after selling some shirts because I don't have a lot of money to buy it a lot of fabric. The truth is I am not selling a lot , I just have a Couple customers and I'm happy to give them what they ask for. And with pleasure I would like to work for people on this forum, just would need a couple of patience to buy the fabric and make the shirt in no more than 3 weeks.

How many of these shirt could you make? Or how many would you like to make. I think there may be a Dozen of us that would like this shirt. Would that be better for you? Or would you like to just do mine (since I asked first ?

Sorry for not making any updates on the forum. The reason why is because I am working on orders that I have to complete and not end up behind. I want to let you know that I don't have a lot of customers and I am willing to make whatever you guys like , whenever you guys have a way to contact me. I will upload pictures of some shirts designs I've been working on. And about the wool fabric, I can make just custom because I am not going to put wool on my clothing line for now. So let me try to find some swatches and if someone is interested send me an email to indigogenegoods@gmail.com and I will send you pics of the swatches that I will be receiving.

Slow, steady growth with a constant increase in quality will make this brand lots of money.
Nearly anyone who has ever received a product made by Manny's hands can attest to the quality.

my one and only word of advice, don't get caught up in the whole customization thing. we've seen how LD&Co turned out and what it's been doing to CF. I would offer up a standard pair of denim, shirts, jackets, etc., and streamline those sales. Every denim company out there has a core offering, but unless you're charging Ande Whall or Companion Denim prices you won't last very long if every Tom, Dick and Harry comes along asking for custom whatever and you're not charging extra for it.

I knew customization was the downfall... That's why the ONLY thing I customized was buttons and thread.
Custom patterns well kill you!!!!!!

Manny, It may be good for you if you did very small runs of crowd sourced items. You are very early on in your success so naturally money is tight. I bet there is at least 10 people in here who are willing to jump on that black watch shirt. Pre sell the design at a quantity both you and the consumer will feel comfortable with. Selling anything more will only cause potential doubt. Build the brand slowly but you do not want to much time to pass where u do not bring in any money. This needs to be seamless each time you buy new fabric. Allowing there to be a lapse from when you have new fabric will only cause consumers to look elsewhere and that means you lose out on sales.
Why dont we put a list together of what you all want and then Manny can crunch the numbers to see what the timeline will be. You guys can then decide what you are comfortable with from there.

What @sal Posted. Let's have indigogene (Manny) make a standard shirt. He did say he could make a change on the Buttons to snaps and pocket flaps or none. Who's In on a Black Watch Wool shirt?

Classic, solid color: black, navy or a dark grey.
I'd rather see a patterned shirt produced and aligned properly, BEFORE one gets crowd sourced
