Thinking about getting the marled grey Henley. Anyone have a Henley yet? Does it run large? Small? True to size? Thanks!

Any update on this? I read on another thread that the sweatshirts are sewing up rather long, and the fit guide for henleys is the same as that for sweatshirts. That said, I like a large in the T-shirts but do not want 33-inch sleeves, as the fit guide suggests would be the case for a large henley--35- or even 36-inch sleeves would be better. Should I size up to an XL?

I've got to think they're a lot like the long sleeves, and the fit seems to be spot on. Slightly slim perhaps; the L's for the long sleeves are definitely not baggy (I usually settle on Mediums for the button downs these days after dropping from Slim L's).

I received my size small black heavyweight henley and was able to wash, dry and wear it. It seems to run big and is baggier and boxier than my Gustin size small tees. I am really hoping it shrinks with subsequent washes. It fits most like this fit pic from the Gustin site:

Yes, a size small. Wish I had measured it before iI washed it... I have an olive henley in production I can measure at some point but you know how sizing can vary with batches.
I think I like my shirts snug more than I am skinny!
I was expecting it to be more snug based on the product description which says a henley should have a close fit etc.
It feels a little blousy as well. I wore it under a leather jacket and it was sticking out the bottom of the jacket and bunching up like a skirt.
I imagine this fit will be great for everyone looking for a relaxed fit. I was just expecting the fit to be more in line with the tees I guess.

Bummer. This is why I ordered medium (I usually take a large in their tee), but panicked and canceled when variable said his sewed up small. Sheesh. I don't know what to believe any longer with ol' G.

My medium black is definitely a bit boxy as well. It just doesn't follow my torso well.
I wear slim medium in the button downs.
Until they make slim fit Henley or t shirt, I'm out.

I like the henley. It isn't mind blowing, and the buttons are a bit small, but it fits me well. I wouldn't call it boxy, but I have a broad frame so it works.
Also, the cuffs are nicely done. They retain their shape well, which is important to me in a long sleeve.

I do classic medium in the button downs too fwiw. I could probably pull off a slim medium but I want a little extra room in them. I tried a classic small once, and it fit except for the comical length.

I received my olive heavyweight Henley this week and the fit is spot on to the Gustin fit chart and exactly what I was hoping. Anyone else with the olive Henley?
This gives me hope and I have backed the black waffle Henley funding now.
I have measured the original black Henley (should have done this as soon as I got it, my fault) and it is about 1.5 inches wider than the spec charts says it should be. Again, hoping it's just this batch.

Again, hoping it's just this batch. I find if you want a good fit from a stretchy fabric, go a size down from your heavyweight size. My heavyweight tee and henley are both spot on at large, but my pigment dye tee is spot on at medium. I'm going to go medium on the waffle henley because I expect it to stretch.

Gustin says that they changed the fit on the henleys. It now tapers more towards to waist, making it less boxy. So I backed the waffle and we'll see.
