Can/would anyone check to see if there are any 38/40 denims in there? Nothing light. Thanks in advance... 38 straight: heavy American, 40 straight: Italy black, 38 slim: nothing but a bunch of chinos, 40 slim: nothing. Thank you.

I can't seem to get to the links, even when I try plugging in stock and the numbers.

A couple of months ago I came upon a green-black twill shirt in the stock store in my size (tall small), Ickies' pictures made me want one, so I picked one up. Long story short: way under spec, sent back for store credit.
Flash forward to this week: I ordered a shirt grab bag in tall small. Guess what I got? The SAME EFFING SHIRT! They never bothered to re-label it, fix it, anything. They just threw it back in the pile hoping some other poor soul would take it. Either that, or this is Gustin's subtle way of saying I'm not skinny enough.

I've gotten the feeling the stock store and the "quick" shipping backings. IE: back an item and right after it funds you get a shipping notice. I've noticed all the times that has happened there is an issue with the product.
Heavy Caramel chinos - Backed them and as soon as the funded with in a few hours got a shipping notice. They ended up coming in .25" smaller in the leg and 3" short in the inseam at about 33" both these errors worked for me so I didn't say anything really about it. I kinda liked the slimmer lower leg at 8". Hearing others stories it seemed the Heavy Caramel chinos came in short for everyone.
Desert Canvas chinos - also a quick turn around time for me. I got these in 36 straight thinking this would give me the more classic chino look. Length was fine but again the straights came in very small at the cuff opening. 8.25" and the lower leg feels the same tightness but the cuff is wider.

bennyrum -- is this your indoctrination into the Gustin fitness program? "You're not getting any more food until you can fit into this Slim XS shirt! You're gonna wear this shirt, and you're gonna like it!" "We're not telling you to lose weight, we're just telling you to step on the scale, subtract 15 or 20 from that number, and then weigh that much" But in all seriousness, I might be done with the stock store. Nothing but bad luck for me.

Got my okies today, without any updates at all on production, just a shipping notice email (wasn't expecting them until July at the earliest) and it's just further proof of Brentkuz's assertion: 31 slim but too big in the waist, too small in the thigh. They'd better accept these as a return cuz I can't wear them. Oh well.

I also bought some brown canvas chinos from the stock store. They were on the very smallest end of tolerable for the size but it works for me even better.

I was just going to ask for an update to what's in the stock store, but the Gustin random access givers have enabled me again. There's a lot of random stuff in stock right now.

Anyone own a pair of the Italy GreyxBlue? Mildly interested and was hoping someone could weigh in on them. Thanks.

Anyone own a pair of the Italy GreyxBlue? Mildly interested and was hoping someone could weigh in on them. Thanks. I really like my pair. They have a smooth and fairly crisp surface. The color is quite interesting. Overall they land somewhere between traditional denim and chino twill. The ID really stands out. Seems to be of made with (shinier) nylon instead of cotton. The campaign pics including the stump samples are pretty accurate. The one exception is the patch pic, it makes them look like medium grey denim; they're darker and richer than that. They are great to have in my collection, but because they are unique looking enough I don't wear them on back-to-back days.

Appreciate the feedback.

You can delete your post by clicking the little gear then delete and confirming it, however you can also mention your sizing woes with the stock store, though usually some more details are appreciated, like how they responded when you told them you need a return, what was wrong with the sizing, etc.

And may I say one more thing - why I never thought the wallets would fall victim to the dreaded Gustin "IG color filter of doom", I was wrong. I scored the Horween Dublin simple wallet from the grab bag, and was surprised by how much darker it is compared to the pic. Excuse me while I sum this up: for not expecting anything less from G. And for not just looking at my keyring that is in Horween Dublin and saying "yeah, it's clearly darker than the pic".
