Got a cute little rose colored Skagen for the girlfriend:  She, on the other hand went more balls to the wall lol! She got me a moleskin camo shirt from Beams:  And round trip tickets/resort hotel stay to Osaka and Kyoto, to be cashed in for my birthday in April (The dirty 30).  ---------- Obviously, I need to step up my gifting game lol! But, in all fairness, this was my first Christmas in 10 yrs where I bought a gift/gifts for someone other than my kids. |

Nice swag! I'm working tonight with my wife at home hosting her mother, grandmother, and my parents for the sleep over; she's a saint apparently and hopefully I did good on the gift selection, as usual I just bought a bunch of stuff I like regardless of what was on their wish lists. Pics to follow in 12 hours...

I was doing my end of the year clean, and took a pic of most of the shoes I picked up in the past year. Left out a few that are my now beater pairs (BB Walnut Strands, Red Wing Suede Chukkas, Wheat and Charcoal Rolltop Timbs).  Needless to say, I'm going to be spending much of 2016 downsizing, and selling most of these off. Going to keep the Aldens, and a few AEs like the Park Aves and Mora 2.0s. |

No pictures yet but I got a new Global pairing knife, some American Giant sweats, otter wax cologne, Gustin apron, Pendleton socks, and a new Corter wallet.

I did very well from the wife and kids - 2 flannels, 2 dressier shirts, 2 pairs of jcrew fairisle socks, whiskey glasses with stone cubes, and a pair of coleehaan boots

Still waiting on my PBJ deep indigo jacket but in the last day i ordered some stuff online -- 3 pairs of Anonymous Ism socks from J.Crew and 2 shirts from RRL (Kane western & Matlock indigo plaid).
PSA: the ltd edition black selvedge type 2 on the RRL site has been marked down to $359 from $590.

benjaminpersitz - which scent of otter wax cologne did you get and do you like it? I got spruce. It smells good, but is much better on than in the bottle. Works nicely with the beard oil I just made. |
