Trying to figure out the hat Daniel London (Oppenheimer) wears. I assume it's a Stetson based on the era and setting.

Looks like the one in the show is a bit different from the one the real guy wore:

Pork Pie is the answer I'm getting from the Internet, though maybe someone else around here can offer more help once they're all done watching football.

I did a Google search and didn't find anything. Which actually really surprised me. I like the TV one although the real Oppenheimers is pretty sick too

I like the TV one although the real Oppenheimers is pretty sick too I prefer the actual dude's hat, but couldn't pull off either. For the original you might look up a custom maker, but for the tv version you might just want to go into a western hat shop.

Definitely not a pork pie. Looks like a Diamond or Pinch Front. The brim is flatter. Look here at the Portis 15: vintagehaberdashers.com/tag/felt/It's a Stetson style with different crease and brim style.

That's a straw hat! How dare you post an image of a straw hat after labor day, good sir! What are you trying to do, incite another straw hat riot?!

I do love my Goorin Panama hat and can wear it even after Labor Day here in San Diego.
I live close enough to villagehatshop.com maybe I'll go there one day.
My wife and daughter hate my Baileys Fairbanks though I like it.

Also check out the Wesley Fedora from the same company. www.brixton.com/mens/headwear/hats/westward-fedora.html
