I'm pretty much done with Uniomade except maybe shoes? Super high priced and hardly anything there fits me. For sure not shirts or outerwear. I have been watching for drops on some of their Golden Bear stuff but just have never bought anything yet. North, if your looking for golden bear jackets, a place called Seedstore (online presence as well) sells them out of season for at least 60%. It's local to me so i can always check if need be if I'm heading that way. Thanks for the offer. Problem is, most of the Golden Bear stuff I like is custom made for UnionMade. Would be cool if Golden Bear had a MTO option or if more companies had MTO's made for them via. GB. |

That they sell expensive goods isn't their fault, and that many around here are value-conscious tends to put us at odds with that. Many of the brands unionmade sells are premium brands with strong price control. My main issue with them is that they call themselves unionmade but sell goods made without fair labor practice, and give no indication of country of origin on most products. I bought 3 pairs of socks (1 Anonymous Ism and 2 pairs of Beams+) and a wool hat. I believe all items specified where they were made. But then again, most people know Anonymous Ism and Beams+ are Japanese brands. What I didn't know is that Howlin' by Morrison are a Belgian brand but their knits are made in Scotland. Either way, I got a decent deal on everything so I can't complain. I agree that it's misleading to call yourself Unionmade and not actually sell product where everything is actually Union made. I think Alden being the exception. |

I was really wanting to order those (not the GAT's) but I'm trying to only have 1 pair of tennis shoes that I only wear with shorts. I know, it makes no sense. But those horsehide ones age beautifully. I think I was also having a difficult time rationalizing $250+ for tennis shoes that I can't resole. |

Yeah I have the horsehide sport trainer. It's super nice and conformable. I got them off of grailed brand new unused with box, shoe bags etc. I was surprised because I picked them up for like $125 shipped.

They are definitely big. I wear a 9.5 red wing, 9 Alden Indy, 10 Nike running shoes and I have a 9 in their trainers and they fit perfectly

I really like how they look but have not had time to try them on yet. Been thinking about putting these on them so I can wear them in the snow and the rain and really take advantage of that tough leather.
