Thanks CF. That makes it an even tougher decision for me as I really like the clean look of the chinos. Much appreciated. Can you explain how that back strap works? Does it function like a belt? do you mean the cinch back? well the cinch back dates back to the 1800's..it was a function to tighten the waist in an age when belts where not a common thing... Up to the 1920’s, belts were largely considered decorative and for military uniforms..after World War I belts began appearing on high-end clothing..so alot of pants had the cinch back before World War I..Usually, younger men cut the cinch off to use a belt, and older gentlemen used the cinch and suspender buttons while ignoring the belt loop in the workforce during that time... just a little trivia

Ahh thanks for the details.
I actually kind of like that idea as I enjoy not having to use belts all the time.

I'm pretty sure the pics are of my pair where I asked Ciano to leave off the belt loops completely an just do the cinch and suspender buttons on the interior of the list bands. The cinch has worked really well. I haven't used the suspender buttons yet as I'm waiting to find a pair of leather suspenders.
