Updated 777 fit is dropping tomorrow. Are these sanforized or post wash measurements?

Interesting. It's slimmer and lower than the "super duper slim" 555-01.

Too low of rise for me. Must be appealing to the skinny jeans crowd.

Same here. Too low and skinny for me but I know some will love this cut.

are these going to be in the standard 21oz?
if they're different i'd consider it as an alternative to the 555.
edit: i'm an idiot and can't read. 21 it is.

Just bought the 777-14 as my first pair of selvedge jeans!
I am 5'5" so I had them hemmed because I don't want a shit ton of extra fabric to cuff.
I naturally decided on this fit based on what I currently like to wear. I am a mild sneaker guy with a slim appearance. I need the leg holes to not cover my sneakers and I feel like straight fit does not do anything extra to make my stature/body type appear better. Tapered makes me feel like I am working with my body and pulling off the look slightly more. Went for the 14oz because I feel like I want an all-purpose, year round jean as my introduction to selvedge. The lower-rise is also something I rock as my fashion style doesn't go retro much... goes kinda more modern fits and styles which I think fits the lower-rise.
My question to y'all I guess is I should really expect a full inch extra from breaking in? It's snug now so I definitely would love a full inch back! Also, any specific tips with this jean for a first-timer would be appreciated.

I think you went with the right cut based off of your style and what you said you were looking for. yes, you can easily get an inch of stretch in the waist with this fabric.
