Hi Everyone so we are going to launch our WORKSHIRT line in the next couple of days. we just finalized hiring a group in CA to help us sew the shirts....i wish we could do the same with our jeans but that not going to happen....we are training two people now to sew our jeans... the good news the shirts will have a production time of 4-6 weeks from order placed to delivery...HAAAAA...better than our jeans..promise we are working on this.....THE JEAN PRODUCTION we will cut them and trim them here in TEXAS... but yes...we are outsourcing the sewing ONLY.........in CA we did multiply samples and to make sure we get the right look but we will finish the garment in our shop with the labels and hand stamping and hand rivets..... Mike does not what the rivets on the shirt so that is why we are asking all of you..no rivets? or rivets? only on the stress points.... so this will be our first launch..CFDCO WORKMAN SHIRT [ we will be doing a western version..but let me get a couple under my belt before we do this and see how this new group of seamsters does...] We got back all the pattern work fro the " DRAGON LADY''...OMG!!!!..I will tell that story later...so the specs are a little big to compensate for the shrinkage...[ SEE BELOW] so we will send an email to everyone who has subscribed to our email updates.... the shirt will run around 95USD-110USD....If we get under 30pcs it will be 110USD..over 30pcs...95USD..for the 9OZ CONE DENIM.. we will offer this new line with different fabrics every 3 weeks...so the next shirt will be a BLACK/BLACK selvage denim and we got alot of new and different fabrics for shirts.. Also i have the old Man the Beasley Texas making me a a fabric of the shirt launch also....he is working on a 14oz-16oz Black/Black for us ..but only enough to make 20 pcs. so here is a preview note....we are going to have better snap buttons on the one we ship ...i will post the new snaps when we get them in.. SOOOOO. with your help..if we can get the shirt program going...the money that comes in from the shirt program with help speed up the production on our jeans and chinos. GOD BLESS EVERYONE!!!!! and hit me back if you have any concerns on this launch...ciano@cianofarmer.com..or 281-202-1078 PS..MIKES WANTS TO DO THE WABASH STRIPE DENIM FOR THE NEXT LAUNCH...so i am fighting with him now,.,,,,,,,,,,,HAAAAAA...Cheers Cheers Ciano 9OZ CONE DENIM

Awesome. So I guess you are thinking about 1" shrink on these?
I do like your size charts. With other brands I'm a XXL but with these a L will fit the bill!
Hell some brands XXXL wont fit me.
GL. They look nice. I'll be springing for one.

Ciano, are you sure the size chart is correct? Seems big? Or is everything really bigger in Texas.?

Old26 if this size chart is correct, it looks like your request for bigger sizes has been fulfilled.

cianofarmer, good to see things progressing, especially at that price/timescale and with the variety in materials. When you say 1" shrinkage on the chest, is that on the measurements you show, or the circumference? As in 1" off the 23" for a small, or off the 46" total? I'd either be a small or medium, depending. I'm only interested in westerns, but would definitely be in on a natural colour if that ever comes, as I can't get one anywhere. A Wabash western would also be tempting, as I wear these jeans quite a lot and like the material. Good luck anyway, as this could really push the brand forward.

I hear yea... Just remember...we are doing raw denim fabrics..and most people dry clean their shirts...
we did a test on the 9oz and dry cleaned it..it shrank
i usually wear a xl and when I put the raw large on it fit snug...after the dry cleaning it shrank 1" in the length and chest and the sleeve....so if I did the Xl it would have been good...
So we cut the patterns to compensate for shrinkage...like our denim..
keep in mind the other brand "" G"" does not do this since they make shirts in regular shirt fabrics.. We are doing denim base fabrics only...no plaids here.....
since this is our first launch.. We will be making adjustments..but the adjust are all to fine tune...we are making a shirt for Winterland in the specs we provided so he will give a good indicator on the shrinkage and fit..
but we know the larger the size the more shrinkage it will be..so we are doing test now...but I do not see that we will be that much off..
the more feed back we get the better.... we can adjust the patterns..so please let us know so we can get the perfect shirt to everyone and give IH a run for there money....MADE IN THE USA...HAAAA

The 1" shrinkage would be minus what is on the chart.....so 23 would shrink down 22- 22 1/2... It depends on how you wash..we did a test with the dry cleaners and the L shruken 1" in the chest from a 25 to a 24...and that was with the 9oz cone... So I think each fabric will shrink a little different...the 9oz cone is a loose weave fabric.... we will do a wash test (dry clean) each new fabric to give a indicator of the shrinkage...but we just did a overall..since it is raw denim...

Ciano, are you sure the size chart is correct? Seems big? The size measurements is for the raw state of the shirt..after you wash it it will shrink like our denim...remember we are doing denim base fabrics...we are not doing the sissy plaids...HAAAAAA

This could be good if it works out. I'm not interested in typical blue indigos, but if you were able to offer your other colours, like the blood red, olive green, grey, Wabash or herringbone (or my grail natural) I don't think I could resist. Black sounds great, but I have two black IHs, so would have to pass on that.
The only downside is that if it's only one material/style at a time, the more adventurous stuff might be a year away, and bought elsewhere in that time. Here's hoping the timescales and release schedules come right down.

cianofarmerLooking good. Would you consider buttons instead of snaps occasionally on some offers? Yes..we will do the buttons....I think the buttons would be best on the lighter weight fabrics...we are make corrozo buttons for the shirt now...so when we do a chambray version it will have the brown corrozo buttons on them... Panama is making them now but we will not see them for 6- 8 weeks...I will post the corrozo buttons for the shirt when we get them in

Like then blood red and others....we are really excite for the black/black from the OLD MAN in Beasley Texas...it's a small run but all Texas made.... i will ill post some other fabrics so we can get get feed back on what to make next...sound good?...

Looks good Ciano! I don't need any more denim shirts right now, but I will pass this along to folks who do! HAAAAA.. I hear yea....we are trying to give that IH quality but Texas made design for a third of the price.....and add a little more details you can not get from other brands... I wanted to add the rivets to the stress points on the shirt...the placket and on the pocket...but Mike said no...because it looks cleaner without them...so the bar tac was his option........... ?? What do you think?

I'm with Mike on the rivets. For me, bar tacks give a cleaner look on a shirt.

What do you think? Don't get me wrong, I'll buy one eventually. I just have to be good. Spent too much money this month and the secret denim I just put an order in from you guys was the icing on the cake. If I don't stop now the kids won't get Christmas presents! Haha. Would it be tough to give the customer an option between rivets and bar tack at the point of purchase? I think both are cool. Bar tacks are cleaner but on a rugged shirt like that, rivets might add a little extra "ruggedness". You know?
