So, I know my taste in the boots category isn't the usually cuppa tea for you guys, but I picked up these Lucchese Ropers new for 1/6 of the price. There's some guys that go to estate sales and in the area they go, it's all older very well-off folks and they get some amazing buys. These run about $750 new - the handmade "Classics" variety made in the USA.

Winterland reminded me. These aren't my style but they look like great boots, good find!

Winterland reminded me. These aren't my style but they look like great boots, good find! To be honest, I'm not sure if they are mine either. Never owned the ropers before. They are more subtle and have a lower heel - better for moving around. If they don't float my boat, then I can flip and make some money no problem.

Boots arrived - killer. Understated and don't look as "western" as my usual fair of cowboy boots. Amazing quality (as usual). They will look good with a T, western, or a work shirt... Color me stoked. Just need to find someone making killer shirts in my size now.

Nice find! I have a pair of Lucchese which are around 10 years old now. I love them and should wear them more but find that they don't work with all my denim. Ifind they look great with a nice straight cut, no cuffs or stacking.

I love the Roper boot style. I have a pair of made in USA Justin boots in the same color as pics above and they work great with denim
