I'm ready to roll. I'm liking the red combo. Me too, red and green strike my fancy. Fyi the reds are going to be the rarest with IHUK getting less than 20. The grey/black will be the most common. I believe they made over a hundred total (other vendors will be getting these as well) |

The green is badly assymetrical around the placket. The way an awfully expensive shirt should be aligned is to run the dark vertical pattern up the placket and then run the pattern out to the right and left so it looks like the placket is aligned with the pattern of the shirt. That's what I'd expect for anything over $200. At Rakuten pricing I can live with the lazy pattern cutting, at IHUK or SE pricing, they'd better be cherry picking the best ones. If their product images look bad, I'm going to assume I'll get a poorly aligned one. Not that I have to worry about that, of course. |

The red one is really well sewn. See how the pockets fit right between the two darker vertical stripes? See how the grey and green ones just sit in random parts of the pattern? That's the poor alignment and not starting the pattern out at the placket.

See, that's why IH has high prices. And that's fine. The Ferrari principal. Not necessarily worth the money, but rare, so the fringe that appreciates it will pay a premium. |

Well FWIW IHUK does not have any in hand yet and the ones in the pics are just samples so it is possible that the ones they actually sell will all be damn near perfect. The turquoise/grey buffalo check they released earlier this year was completely recalled and cancelled after Haraki had a look at all of them and decided the patterns weren't lined up to his standards. this was after they had been put up for sale on the website too and I actually bought one but was given a refund after Haraki pulled them. |
