Yep--I'm absolutely stoked to buy a pair of these once I confirm sizing. That will get my BMW MOA friends off my ass for riding in "regular" jeans. These are the only kevlar denims I would wear--all of the other brands look ridiculous.

I saw these first hand. Roman is a motorcycle enthusiast. He's got a motorcycle sitting in the shop. The Kevlar is really soft and very breathable. Not too heavy either (all things considered).

I'm a little bit interested in these also. I have looked at some kevlar jeans in the past, and was not that impressed, and not very good looking. I like the fact that Roman does them raw.

I'm very proud of those jeans! I spent alot of time getting that kevlar to work with all the seams that other brands use. most brands us a 12oz. I use a 14oz terry kevlar. They are very comfortable.

Sooo, any updates or reviews on these? I just traded for a Ducati 1098. We just had instagram.com/caferacersofinstagram in the shop with us for 2 days. They loved the kevlar sample pair we had and are in the process of making a few other items as well. They took a few items with them on this cross country trip they are doing so we shall see how they end up after some serious riding.

I would say you would get them 2nd week in Feb if ordered today. Thats where we are at right now. After February I believe we will begin seeing a faster turn time. KS and our old order system was like morse coding communication. The new system I can manage by myself with a few hundred messages and changes a day. The old system requires 4 of us to manage and it takes us 2 or 3 days to get thru. The main reason we changed e-commerce sites was for manageability with everything else behind that.

Cool, I appreciate the honest info on the time frame. Any suggestions from Roman or another rider on a fit and fabric best suited to the Kevlar lining?

Ok, ready to order these now, but want a quick sizing check. Will I need to size up for the Kevlar lining? My 33 straight kuroki 18.5 oz fit snugly, but easily buttoned on the first wear. If they had a thick liner that might not work. Any ideas on this? I'm afraid the Kevlar will prevent them from stretching at all.

Of course I wouldnt do a slim taper unless you upsized. With the straights and slim straights you can order as you normally would
