Beautiful shirt jbreitenbucher. Unfortunately for me the sizing just doesn't work out on those as they are way too short for me. This is the case with most Japanese brand Tees. Very nice shirt though.

ickes Thanks. I hear you. Luckily I have a shorter torso. I'm just surprised at how quickly it's fading. I've got the G heavyweight indigo tee and it seems to not have lost any indigo at all in its first wash.

Does anyone know if there is a t-shirt like the PBJ indigo that comes in a larger size? They are just too small for me, but I love the fabric. I actually bought an XXL (size 5) but it was still small. I had to give it to my 14 year old son. If you know of something highly similar, please do share.

Next on my list is a 3sixteen indigo.

the 3sixteen's not going to be the same shirt though. you'll get an indigo shirt, sure. you can get those from quite a few makers. the PBJ shirt's a different animal...just look at the dye coverage.

For sure. I have the henley version of the PBJ. EDIT: And the material is definitely lighter weight and stretchier/less forgiving than the Gustin heavy indigo tees (and I am assuming the 3sixteen also).

i don't but the photos easily show that the PBJ isn't a standard "navy" shirt.

I think the PBJ is more textured fabric, but the 3sixteen might be an option. I wish there was a closer copy of the PBJ, but I can't find one.

Great looking shirts, but do they stretch? Shoulders seem a bit narrow.

Yes, they stretch. But not in a good way. I DO HAVE the PBJ Henley and the Gustin. The henley is the same fabric as the tee. It stretches. A lot. It's nicely dyed, but the fabric isn't as thick and substantial as the Gustin. And people who have the Gustin and the 3sixteen are saying that the 3sixteen are even thicker and sturdier than the Gustin. So there you go. PBJ is dyed interestingly. But it is NOT gonna hold up like the Gustin, or presumably, the 3sixteen. I like the PBJ henley. But it is massively massively overpriced. Massively. First wear, it stretched terribly and became baggy/saggy. It seems to me like the dying process left its stretch (and ability to snap back) pretty toasted.

The PBJ seems to look cool as it wears in, with fades and what-not. Does the 3sixteen or Gustin behave similarly? I've got to say, the PBJ I gave my son feels pretty impressive. It feels like a quality shirt to me. I paid like $50 for it or something, which I agree is an expensive t-shirt, but I'm willing to pay a little more for unique things and I think the PBJ is unique, albeit too damn small.

My Gustin Tee is getting fades, yes. Small bits around the collar and arms here and there and only one wash. So not as dramatic. But yeah.
