Hi.
Basically what would make this a success is if you could donate a pair of size 36 selvadge and/or shirt.
The plot: I have a friend who lives almost out in the woods. I dont know him that good, but see him about once a month. He is the kindest person I know and have a knack for cars so have helped me with my car from time to time.
He has some problems so cant work so dont have that much money. One week ago he came to this "party" and was very happy because he apparantly had "bought another pair of pants". Conversation started and he apparently only had 1 pair before this. He told me he used to wash them in the evening and have them dryed to be worn the next day.
I looked through my clothes and drove to him (its an hour drive) today but all my pants are size 35" so slightly too small. I had a pair of almost unworn Naked & Famous that fit very good so he got them and also some sweaters from me.
So offcourse I could just buy him some size 36 but was thinking that people here have like 20 pairs, surely it must be possible to get together like 5 pairs or so.
Rules: * Pants should be "normal" color, he is a little over 50. Blue/black/grey should be fine. * Should be jeans, but could be duck or other not brittle material. Preferably not chinos. * Dont have to be brand new, a coupple of washes and a pair you just dont feel anything for but is a good solid pair would be perfect. New is also welcome offcourse. * Shirts can not be checkered, preferably solids and much preferably snaps.
Size jeans: So his best fitting pair (the only pair of jeans) is 18" across layed flat. * 18-18,5" should work * Length not under 33"
Size shirts: * Gustin size XL non-slim works good. * About 23" P2P
I will paypal you the shipping to me.

I'll donate Gustin "The Regular" which are too large on me and are 18" across laid flat. I wonder if I have any shirts that'll work. I'll check.
EDIT: Actually, I know I definitely have a few shirts that I have stored away that are too big but are still nice to decent.

Wish I had come to this Thread sooner. I've got a couple other things he may need/want. A shirt or two, sweatshirt, canvas 5pocket. PM you think he could use these.

Great idea Griffin - good on you. Unfortunately, my size won't work for him at a 33 slim

I gotta say stop to new help for the moment only because the support have been incredible and I just cant afford any more shipping ATM, I gotta finish up the ones were doin and get a grip on the total money for shipping, so all up until now is in and we discuss further in PM.
I might reboot it after the first load and I get more money and know how it all works out.
Thanks for all the support and Ill be updating after first load!

I don't think I have anything in the right sizes (33 slim and on the medium side of large), but I think the response is awesome.

Glad they made it there ok. Hope they fit well. They have been machine washed and dried, so no more shrink but they will for sure stretch. They were a little too big on me, especially after a day's wear.
