i asked Jay if they measured up to those specs because it's more of a skinny than a slim and he said that they were accurate. he did mention that they're looking to get something similar to this material available in the near(ish) future. not sure if it's a collab or another brand's going to be doing it.

Gustin ran an Italian version of this fabric at one point. The blue owl description indicates the big john version is woven specifically for them, though. www.weargustin.com/store/706 |

yeah, i should amend my post to say no G either...especially Italian fabrics. Heh. I was going to recommend you go check and make sure you don't have the Gustin version. if i did, i might be happy with it. i still have a lot of G left hanging up...just getting choosier about what i hold on to. really hoping Big John does another fit with this stuff though...they usually have such generous measurements...definitely took it the skinny route this time. |

IndigoxGrey is such a cool looking fabric and its surprisingly uncommon. Someone recently posted another IndigoxGrey fabric that's available recently but I just can't remember who it was....let me do some searching. |

They also ran a Japanese version, the same 13oz, but the campaign was going super-slow and failed to fund (it was documented starting on page 124 of the new drops thread, but nobody shared the images and Gustin removed them). The only image I have is from the email they sent:  |

PBJ seems to make grey weft (sold out at rivet and hide here), probably be the closest to the big john since those guys love those low tension weaves. They don't tend to be more generous in the thighs, though. You could ask Denimio if they expect a restock of this one.  |

PBJs are fine for larger thighs - different fits and i can actually wear their slim taper just fine. those Big Johns are just flat out skinny jeans. the weft on these doesn't have that same civil war type feel to it. i do like those buttons though! |
