So... anticipating the new 21's any day now, I hot-soaked the Jutes in the tub last night. Wow, do those things dry fast this time of year - even hanging inside in a cold room (very dry here). They were as starchy and stiff as cardboard, and were down a size. After about 30 mins, they softened up and stretched back nicely. I can see where some fades are slowly taking place. Great pair o' jeans. I'd love a jacket in this stuff - but would love it even more if it were say 18oz.

It's nice that you're extremely happy with CF's stuff, but for most, a 4 - 6 time frame isn't going to cut it. Even IH was an inch under spec for some of their denims, but as long as you know that ahead of time, it's not awful. Also, because of the somewhat stretchiness of denim, half an inch under spec isn't bad either. You'll have a few months to stretch them out to your perfect fitting waist, and still have time left over before receiving something from CF. Also, I think this "having your own specs made" is a little overrated. I go up and down 15 pounds every year, and my waist size goes up or down a size to a size and a half. I'll be just fine finding an appropriate fit from the fit guide using the specs I am at at the time.this right here ^^^^ I am in the same boat as you devastitis . Because of my weight training cycles I will also fluctuate 10-15 pounds up and down every year and I think a lot of people who don't even weight train will fluctuate as well. It's just not worth a 3 month plus wait time just to have custom specs in what are pretty basic fabrics for the most part. Although to Ciano's credit he is venturing out and acquiring more rare and desirable fabrics. I figured this out with good ol Lawless Denim. In principal I thought it sounded really cool to have my own specs but in reality it just kind of drove me crazy as I changed the measurements on my orders several times because of my fluctuating weight. In general, that's 100% true up there. Now what appeals to me is getting say a 38" inseam so I can actually cuff something! For that, I'd pay and wait. Otherwise, I keep jeans of two sizes on hand here. Those can accommodate my annual ±15 pounds.

Can't wait for my vanilla henley to come in. No better time than now to wear a heavyweight long sleeve. They should be shipping any day now.

I would agree with both of you for the most part, but I think this option is great for someone who has strange or exaggerated lower parts, such as a big booty, monster calves or monster thighs, or any combination of those three.

Henleys should arrive today, out for delivery now. Please let me know if this runs big or small for you. It will change two of my orders depending! Thanks! So the chest measurement came in around 21.5 PTP and the center back length around 28 for the size Large 3-pack that I got. All three were in the same neck of the woods, measurement wise. So now they're cold washing and off to the dryer after that and I'll see if they shrink up any. The neck tag is super freaking annoying though -- and I tried it on over a t-shirt. Holy crap I'm going to cut that shit right off. Screen printing, people. Live it, love it.

Woah! 21.5 for a large! Definitely fitted then! Yeah, and the fit guide says that the chest circ should be 43.5, so looks like they might be running slightly slimmer.

Photos? How's the quality? Which ones came in the pack? I bought this (lightweight): www.weargustin.com/store/2851And this (heavy): www.weargustin.com/store/2779They're both mixed fabric base, but meh.

Black, gray and navy were the colors (https://www.weargustin.com/store/2510). The quality seems OK. I wasn't overwhelmed by the neck seam at the top button, but maybe that's being too picky. The material felt like it had a lot of give, like a heavy t-shirt. The cuffs seemed good, weren't too tight over my Fitbit, but we'll see if they retain that stretchy quality after I shove them over my forearms a bunch. Don't know why I always do that, but I do. But that goddamn tag has got to go. Holy crap it was annoying.

Gustin has a history with heavy stuff, so I hope this isn't a fail. Really looking forward to these since I had to sell the Beasts... But I can still wear the Super Heavy 18's, and I do have a pair of LD 18's that are also great (hate to say). That said. Super Heavy, Jutes, and the other lightweights that I have are still heads over heels better than anything I can find in a store.

Still waiting. In the meantime I'm getting some good wear in the American Antique's. Also ordered a pair of the 20oz S&S Anniversary additions. It'll be interesting how the 2 compare.

I don't really care how long it takes. I just want them to be sewn to spec.
