Khaki Stripe workshirt is being shipped, I'd guess/hope the Indigo Jacquard isn't far behind. Fingers crossed for a Christmas Eve arrival.

Sigh. The Army Green Duck Chino is a no go. They emailed me saying it did not sew up right. At least they're giving me a full refund and not store credit. Sigh.

My brown 13 chinos got QC'd yesterday, which I guess is slightly preferable to dealing with having to return them.

Heavy blackxcoals have shipped. Genuinely worried about them though. I also backed the Japan 21's. Worrying times! May end up having to return all three.
I agree with what someone else said (can't remember who/where); I REALLY want to support Gustin but if 2 or 3 of these are way off spec I'll stop buying their denim. I've only bought accessories and t-shirts from them otherwise, and have had no issues with these; so will just stick to buying them.

You just have to wonder what in the hell is going on there. Gustin is making rookie mistakes, and now I'm wondering what the 21's will show up like. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume a couple of things: lack of skilled sewers at the contracted factory and heavy workload, which, given G's timeframe leads to lots of mistakes. The continued mistakes will invariably lead to an exodus of unsatisfied customers. G has great customer service but if they can't clean up their QC people are going to seek out other viable alternatives. |

They have a crazy amount of production going on compared to the quiet, old days of jeans. shirts. My heavy blackxcoals are also on the way and I'm kind of expecting to feel like a squeezed sausage when I try them on. I also sized down 1 in a half-hearted attempt to convince myself to start exercising, but I saw through that trick. I can't fool me |

I don't think I'll be buying any more denim, as long as they come within spec. Japan 21/IndigoxGreen Silk/Indigogene Crosshatch/S&S Anniversary Denim + the Gearthy tone denims should hold me over for life. Just focus on buying tops and outerwear, not from G of course.
